I'll say this:

Trump handled the situation with North Korea and Iran well. He also negotiated the peace and withdrawl from Afghanistan with the Taliban (and then retard Joe waited until the last fucking minute to actually pull out and made it into the clusterfuck it became).

If Trump wins the Republican ballot, I'll vote for him once again.

That being said, I would really prefer DeSantis. Why? Because when the chips were really down with the beginning of the COVID hysteria and BLM niggers were out burning the cities down, Trump cucked out hard. Too worried about optics for re-election, he sat on his hands and didn't do shit. He could have forcibly opposed the lockdowns and made executive orders to stop that shit, he could have kept the land borders open. He didn't. He cucked out. Same thing with letting the niggers burn the cities.

DeSantis didn't. When the chips were down, he was one of the few political leaders to not only not support the lockdown and COVID hysteria, he actively opposed it and did everything in his power to stop the vax and mask gestapo from pulling their shit in Florida, even with the cruise ships. He also made sure that any of the BLM bullshit was snuffed out super quick. When the chips were down he didn't bend the knee.

So, while Trump was a good "peace time" leader, when things got tough he cucked hard. In the same situations, DeSantis didn't. So, I hope DeSantis wins the ballot and Trump doesn't do some gay shit like go third party to split the vote, but w/e.

I'm neutral/bored on this subject but I think (a) the trump persona isn't a real person anyway so it's dumb to try to gauge it and (b) you can only judge this shit in retrospect and it ain't over yet

what I saw during the first term was him playing the heel and poisoning the well on a lot of evil shit the previous administration had been getting away with. Literally the first thing he did in office was sign something Obama had already done, resulting in the media turning on it because it was a Trump thing now, and this was a pattern throughout.
maybe he's exactly the short-term self-serving type of asshole politician that he's portraying; that's the only thing Americans can concieve of anyway so it's safe to judge, right? or maybe this is Operation Snow White 2.0 and what you think doesn't matter because it's already accounted for in the kayfabe

I know shit has gotten too surreal to be able to tell but nothing has added up at any point (like his 'most fanatical supporters' being a group who left the rally an hour early--it could have been like one of those cool klan meetings where every single person turns out to be a fed for all we know). I say if you're not sure what to believe, choose the funniest option

That's pure revisionism. Remember the fag dressed as the grim reaper harassing people on beaches and calling the cops on them 3 years ago? That was in Florida, and he was following the law since Florida locked down just as hard as any other state and wasn't even the first to open up since Georgia, South Dakota, and Tennessee did first. Think Florida had statewide mask mandate too for a bit, neither of those three states did.

Why is the media asserting this guy is going to indict on a felony charge for a misdemeanor? Is he claiming Trump is guilty of some crime other than the one he's accusing him of?

It's not that they can, they are, and they'll keep doing it and still win even if Trump is out of the picture. It's not as if their platform or odds of victory will change just because we get Pence or DeSantis.

This either means killing babies, butchering kids, and a looming WWIII are somehow more appealing to Americans than a better economy, secure border, and somewhat maintaining traditional values...OR it's rigged.

It's truly a nightmare either way.

OMG, please let this be true! The absolute seething from the people with TDS would be fucking delicious. I mean, the seething from the TES crowd if Trump spent even one night in jail would also be delicious, but I hate the former far more than the latter so I really hope this is factual.

This. Dragging Trump too much through the mud would also damage the prestige of the office of the president further than is necessary, and that's not in anyone's in power interests. Even the most rabid Trump-hating democrat in actual power would rather just have Trump be quietly forgotten about, rather than be turned into some carnival freak.
He's still an ex-president of the United States after all, so turning him into a total circus attraction that gets dragged in handcuffs through the streets on video also lowers the perceived value of the president's office in general.
