It didn't take long for managers to figure out they complain endlessly, sometimes litigiously, are allergic to work, have labile moods that lead to outbursts offending clients and coworkers, and tend to cycle through jobs more often than they shampoo and condition. Even if you love the idea of troonery in theory, having one work in your department is nothing but pain if you're lucky, pain and liability if you don't carefully let them go as quickly as possible. Of course the wisest way is to learn your lesson once and then never hire another one.

And that's not even getting into the headache their falsification of identity documents leads to in any industry where recordkeeping is crucial. Oddly enough, the enbies may be the straw that breaks the camels' back because of how their fiction can't be humored past a certain point without crashing the whole system.

I think things like legal access to hormones and surgery are just downstream of a larger cultural problem, which is the demand (and almost total cultural and institutional acquiescence) that we pretend that men can turn into women and vice versa. I don't care if a few adult men want to take female hormones, that's their issue. Testosterone should be more tightly restricted as it causes so many more health problems. But if grown women want to take it and die young that is their issue.

If we solved the upstream cultural issue (respected figures and institutions insisting that humans can change sex, pretending that transwomen can become women in any sense and that transmen can become men) then most of the vulnerable people sucked into the troon cult would no longer be tempted. Gays and lesbians and lonely autists are being drawn in by the promise that they can literally change sex, or at the very least hope to be perceived as the other sex by everyone they meet. And at the moment most of society is backing up that lie.

If vulnerable young men were told the truth that the most they can hope for is some breast tissue growth and osteopenia, that even the most passing of trannies doesn't fool anyone for long, and that they will always be male, the groomers wouldn't have such easy targets.

After that, if a few greasy perverts want to get their hands on estrogen and grow some flabby moobs to fondle by themselves at night: sure, whatever. Just stay away from women's locker rooms.
