The main issue with 3make was that they cut a third of the game and made the protagonist a cunt.

Yeah but RE3 your not getting ammo and cash off enemies outside Nemesis. RE3 is nothing like the changes RE4 did.

No mention of Umbrella, so Krauser doesn't let it slip in this version.

Sounds like they're teasing a DLC if the dialogue in both Krauser fights is anything to go by, but what the hell? Operation Javier with a whole squad? And they still managed to fuck it up?!
Don't know how to feel about this. Always up for new Krauser content, but not if he's going to be flanderized like this.

After seeing how the regenerators look in RE4 remake in clear footage, you can see how fucking awful the design is. It’s like capcom just took the molded from RE7 and re-skinned them as regenerators. They just don’t look scary anymore.

Take a look and compare.

That creepy grin is what really gets me on the original. They also look physically intimidating. The remake version just looks like a fat blob.

The Iron Maiden’s are ok. Downgrade from the original but they almost had it with this one.

And take a look at that gunt. I wonder if Ethan Ralph was turned into a regenerator.

Yeah Capcom's art team is weird, they can get so much right and then so much wrong.

Still this feels like small fries to how they messed up Nemesis and Ashley not looking like a Goblina like NuClaire.

I really hope this is the end of the line for remakes, RE5 was built for co-op and it feels like a waste of time to redo that game design for just one game.

all the files in re4make have mysteriously appeared on the wikia when i went to look to see how much of an asset flipped molded that regenerator is (hint, it's blatant). there's a note talking about consuming "black liquid" left behind by Saddler and i think they're bastardizing the whole RE4 plot in an attempt to tie it into the retarded megamycete hive mind bullshit plot device of Ethan's arc. also, enemies melt into black puddles in RE4make (you can see it in the demo) when the game feels like despawning corpses, and Wesker's Uroboros virus is the only other black liquid in RE besides mold, and RE5 doesn't happen before RE4, so...

That combined with Wesker's lines on the chopper genuinely makes me think they'll remake 5 in a couple of years. A remake of a flawed enough game, imagine that.
