I agree, to an extent. I don't trust him, but that may be my racism bit. However, his fanbase definitely agrees with you, and the desperate attempts by lolicons to paint him as a groomer seem pretty impotent so far. However, the whole shitshow is pretty spectacular. Particularly, the "Friends of the Predators" segment in the doc: I really enjoyed seeing Ralph, Flamenco, and even Queen Keffals getting mentioned. And Nyanners catching one of the hardest strays ever.
Aside nyanners being an annoying unfunny shit, my only real issue with her is in fact her turning her back on literally where she came from. While I'm not a 4chan regular (only visit /vt/ occasionally to see meltdowns) it's always fascinating to see people pretend they never liked or did xyz when they get famous, that's usually part of why people drag up shit that often times ends up hurting (if not destroying) careers. Not saying this will happen to her, but I see a correlation lately. Honestly that whole doc was a wild ride start to finish.
IMO, almost anyone would ditch that culture if it meant the money and success the pink cat has now. Still, the thing I hate is the hypocrisy. It would be fine to say, "I'm different now, and I don't like that stuff anymore" and not hating the people that liked her then. However, to throw them under the bus and act like you're above those people is what a lot of people have a problem with.
I have my sympathies because "it's all just a big joke and for fun" really is the oldest groomer trick in the book, she was young, and she'd hardly be the first to fall for it. Hell even Null did back in the day, which is part of the reason why he seethes so hard about loli now. Could she have handled it with more grace? Sure. But it's been a long-ass time to hold a grudge for just that reason alone, so I get a little suspicious of the motivations of those who really go in deep over how much of a "4chan traitor" she is. There are plenty of other reasons to dislike her, why keep stretching that far back to that time she burned a bunch of loli fans?
I don't even know how old she would've been at the time. If she was a teenager and it was her being manipulated by the predecessors of Discord grooms, then I would understand. She could just say, "Hey, I know that I was popular online doing this kind of stuff before, but now I think it's disgusting want to get away from it." The issue, however, is the Vtuber model she has. It would be hard for her to say that she hates loli shit when her character is a little flat-chested catgirl.

She claims the pomf song was made when she was 16 though I've seen it being challenged based on different (and conflicting afair) pieces of dox. It's been so long ago that narratives are very muddled too, it's hard to research things properly and my memory is faulty since she kind of vanished from the radar almost entirely before the Western vtuber boom.
It's arguable that she stopped, since she disavowed her explicit loli content. Her voice is obviously still the same, though. Just like FallenShadow (diagnosed schizo lolituber), it's just her real voice. Would Nyanners be absolved from guilt if she gave her model huge tits, or does her natural voice mean she is always doing loli roleplay whether she likes it or not?
This was a weird era. I really think it was Tumblr's web design that made women act this way. The re-blogging system allowed you to put other people on blast in front of your audience and receive big ass-pats for it. There is a reason Twitter's web design is explicitly built to curb this with the "this tweet is unavailable" bullshit if it detects you possibly being negative.
Gundo Mirei has a history of suspensions, but this case is rather amusing.
