Paden Reilly / Crusader Cat / Brother Pawden / Frater Patricius / CrusaderCatfur - Bible-thumping cat-fucking zoophile Christian furry that unironically wears a bowlcut on his fursuit. Thought explaining to people he literally raped his pet cats would help convert furries to Christianity. Gay, AI-porn slop addict as of 2025.

Crusadercat just explained in detail some of the extreme harassment he's experienced at recent conventions.
People saw a photo of you wearing an armband drawing imagery from the SS & believed the caption that you were a Neo-nazi? Shocking!

'Self-admitted animal abuser' is a 'rumor,' when you came to infamy over talking about cumming on your cats? Amazing!

"In fear of your life" at a convention of terminally online basement dwelling queers? Terrifying!

Cross-posting from this post in the Furry Convention Drama thread. CrusaderCat made an appearance at Fur the More 2023, and his appearance was not well-received by anyone there. Somehow, he managed to register and pick up a badge without catching any attention, and nobody noticed he was at the event until Saturday, at which point he used the "Fur Con AI". At that point, shit really hit the fan.

For the sake of context, Fur Con AI is a photo booth that's been set up at numerous furry conventions. You push a button, at which point a camera takes a photo, poorly guesses what it thinks the picture is, then automatically tweets the photo. Here's the photo that landed CrusaderCat in hot water:

Given CrusaderCat's infamy, this was NOT taken well by event attendees and quickly started to out-trend most other tweets from the event. A few highlights of just the replies that were made to the photo are as follows:

Somebody at the event then claimed CrusaderCat got kicked out shortly after this photo.

The next day, Fur the More put out an official statement on Twitter regarding keeping attendees safe and not tolerating bigotry; it doesn't mention Crusader by name, but when you consider he was the only person who gained any notable traction online during the convention, it's nevertheless fairly clear FtM staff were aware of the situation.

Bonus: this angry quote-tweet by some random furry (who was apparently overly mad the FtM Twitter wouldn't explicitly name-drop Crusader) and getting told to STFU by the official Twitter:

"Mid-Atlantic Anthropomorphic Association, Inc." put out an open letter in response to CrusaderCat showing up at Fur the More over the weekend. It doesn't mention anyone by name, but it's pretty obvious this is in response to Crusader and the shitshow that resulted on Twitter.

To summarize it: "We still don't know how he managed to register and get his badge without anyone noticing, and didn't know he was here until it blew up on Twitter. As soon as we knew he was present, we removed him from the event. Blah blah safety, blah blah inclusion."

Crusader Cat seems to be one of the most universally hated and ostracized furries in the fandom, rightfully so to, anyone who fucks cats, moretoless, any animal, deserves no sympathy from me. Honestly, if I was him, I would seriously commit suduko

I was literally just thinking about this scumbag the other day and I was wondering when he was going to crawl out of the woodwork again.

That's absolutely hilarious that he bought a badge and then picked it up without anyone blinking an eye. And furries are typically on high-alert nowadays about the neo-nazi stuff. How do you let a notorious, cat-fucking nutcase get into your con without noticing? Was everyone at the con that drunk and high on whippits and chameleon meth? I mean I know this is a furry con, but Christ. It's not like he blends into the crowd either. It's hard not to noticed a bowl-headed fursuit with a huge cross, staff and priest robe walking by you. :story:

Turns out CrusaderCat might have actually been at the convention a little longer than expected. I was looking through posts from the event, and someone recorded him in the fursuit parade.

Here's a video of the parade I found on Youtube, Crusader makes an appearance at about 5:22.
Here's a partial archive (it's just the part where he's visible on camera):

According to the convention's schedule, the fursuit picture and line-up for the parade were at 12:30 PM, and the parade was at 1 PM. The convention recently tweeted out the fursuit picture a few days ago and Crusader is visible in the upper left. There's someone taller standing right in front of him, but the bowl cut is immediately recognizable.

The Fur Con AI photo that blew up on Twitter was tweeted at 1:42 PM. So here's my guess on how shit went down:

CrusaderCat arrives at the event either Friday night or Saturday morning. Somehow, he was able to either pre-register or register at the event, getting his badge. Given that most people know his fursuit more than his face or real name, it's feasible that he didn't raise any alarms with staff at the time.
Saturday: Crusader arrives for the fursuit photo at 12:30 PM, making it in time to be photographed. The parade started at 1 PM, presumably taking 15-25 minutes (based on the length of that youtube video). After the parade, Crusader wanders around, sees the Fur Con AI booth, and takes a picture at 1:41 PM. It blows the fuck up on Twitter.
Someone on Twitter claimed they later went to the Convention War Stories panel, where the chairman was late. When they made it to the panel, they stated they were late because they had to deal with the Crusader situation. The convention's schedule listed this panel at 2:30 PM, so we can reasonably assume they were probably 20-30 minutes late.

While I think Fur the more made numerous shitty decisions for last year's event and this year's event, I do at least have to give them credit for dealing with the situation fairly quickly, by tracking him down and removing him in 90 minutes or less.

Additionally, he may have registered with his "furname" as something other than Crusader Cat, to avoid getting flagged. If you look at the FurConAI image, he has several badges reading "Crusader Cat", but his official conbadge (the one on the left) has a different name on it.

It's hard to read, but looks like "Frater Patricius" (Latin: "Brother Patricius").

It looks like it. The badge number also appears to be E754.

I can't believe this hasn't been posted about yet, but Crusader Cat made an appearance at Anthrocon this year. He pulled the same trick he did at Furthermore where he registered with a fake name, bypassed con staff somehow and no one knew he was there until he dressed up for the fursuit parade, at which point people started taking pictures of him and posting it all over Twitter. I'm searching to see if he got kicked out or not.

Paden is finally active on social media again after years of hiatus and/or being chased off every furry group of websites he’s been on. This time, it’s on "CrusaderCatfur" Twitter. He registered the account a while ago but only started using it in the last couple of days.

Here are the five accounts currently following him. It's worth mentioning that the "Num Chompsky" in this screenshot is Khord Kitty. Khord changed his Twitter name a while back to hide from his infamy.

At first, I glanced at his public posts and thought, “Okay, it’s not THAT bad,” at least by furry degenerate standards. He also pinned a post where he talks about wanting to write what I assume will be gay furry porn.

Then I made the mistake of looking at his very public replies. To preserve my fellow Kiwi's sanity, I will only post the "clean" ones below:

The following spoiler will show you exactly what Paden's porn habits are like and he has no reservations about letting people know he's into it. Everything under this spoiler is extremely NSFW, you have been warned.

Paden uploaded his first video in years, which appears to be him reciting some sort of prayer. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what he's saying because I'm not familiar with Latvian, and the audio quality is very poor. If someone more familiar with Christianity wants to take a stab at this, go for it.

I guess the only notable takeaway from this video is that he still has his fursuit, which is at least 10+ years old at this point, bowl cut and all. To his credit, it doesn't look nearly as gross as some of the other older suits I've seen. Doesn't excuse his extremely degenerate behavior on Twitter, though.
