Yes the Ukrainian defence ministry is claiming that they've destroyed three quarters of the entire Russian army. As not even the most retarded Ukrainian supporter in the west believes this the 100K estimate is just a number pulled out of their arses to sound big but plausible. I've seen western estimates of Russian dead range from 20K to 120K, in other words no one has any idea.
Russia currently enjoys a 10:1 artillery advantage over Ukraine. 80-90% of all reported casualties in this war have come from artillery, not small arms. Despite Reddit bro drooling over NATO wunderwaffe most of Ukraine's weaponry is old Soviet stuff and is significantly less accurate than Russian. It's reasonable to say that Ukrainian losses will be significantly higher than Russian. Clues may be found in Ukraine press ganging geezers, children and handicapped people into serving.

The way people treat this like gearing up and thinking they're fighting for 'Freedom' are fucking idiots. They just get thrown right to the front lines as Zelinsky is desperately trying to hold Bakhmut even as its crumbling, throwing so much manpower and resources at it, its mind boggling.
The West can't produce fuck all. Ammo production in NATO and the US is far behind Russia and Ukraine is already running low. Even ramping up production now would mean that it wouldn't catch up until 2024-2025. And that's assuming Europe DOES ramp up. Europe has barely done shit militarily except for the French, and does not seem very eager to do so. They're all "GO GET EM" when the US is behind them, but when they have to step up, they're not so eager.
Germany having 52 billion to spend on its military and not spending a single cent, comes to mind. That and having to pay in advance for ammo orders. Meanwhile Russia can operate at this pace for a long time.
You have to also consider the operational doctrine of the United States. For the past, say 20 years, it has been interpreted that conflicts will be small-scale, with non-state actors and rogue states. Not nuclear powers. So military production was shifted to air power and small scale units, drones and the like. Not combined arms warfare. Everyone expected a conflict with a nuclear power to end with nukes.
But here we're seeing a major power ready for war with other major powers. We mocked Russia at the beginning because it took a lot of damage, but that was because the gloves hadn't come off. The things they're doing now is nothing to sneeze at. Ukraine is barely holding on and requires constant Western support. The country would be done without it. And even with support, it is straining global systems quite a bit.
The West was not ready for a war with another major power. Russia, seemingly, was. And now is, much more than before. While the West is struggling to adopt that position. And Russia isn't even in a war economy. That is extrodinarily bad.
Mossad, I think, estimated 17-18k Russians and about 150k Ukies. But nobody really knows on either side, except it is really worse on the Ukranian side, with people getting pulled off the street to go to the grinder in Bakhmut.

By the mid 80's it was basic production number at UVZ without going into mobilization footing to boot. And had floor space to spare.
From left to right
First row production numbers of T-72 for UVZ.
Second row production numbers of T-72 for Chelyabinsk(Which did much more then just tanks),
Third row number of T-72's that went into Soviet Armed forces as apposed to abroad.
The fourth row includes the T-64A (object 434) and T-64B (object 437/447) numbers. But not the T-64(object 432) and early T-64A production samples. Also all T-64's models where built by Kharkov and the numbers where limited by the engine production.
Fifth row is for T-80's which the bulk was built by Kirov. Which where also building fuckload of other things also.
Omsk however ended up building T-80U's also and was going to or had taken over production IIRC. And Kharkov started building T-80UD (Diesel engine powered instead of Gas/multi-fuel- turbine ) in parallel to T-80U since 1987

I think it'll be awhile before we get genuine KIA numbers. Barring the obvious propaganda numbers both sides will throw out, you have to figure neither side probably has exact numbers yet. There's a significant amount of dead bodies laying out there rotting left behind who are still considered MIA, people who will never be identified because they're literally in pieces from artillery/mortars which are the biggest killer in any conventional war who are still considered MIA, and probably prisoners whose captivity wasn't reported to the opposing side who are still considered MIA.
