You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

Its either you're far quieter than you realize, they're the sort who gets really absorbed into something, or your visage is so terrifying that being faced with it unexpectedly shaves a few hours off their life.

Could be all three you never know.
I think it's all three. On one hand I think I do roll 20 on stealth unitentionally everytime I walk by someone, on the other hand I think my autism is actually a physical presence at times.

Piggybacking on @(((I am NOT a jew)))'s post about people having jump scares over nothing, it always made me do a mental facepalm back in my school days when the girls in class would all shriek over the most mundane things ever:

*lights flicker briefly because there's a mild storm*
"EEEEEEEEEEEE! OMG OMG OMG"
*someone drops something in plain view of everyone and it makes a sound that's over 40 decibels*
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

It was like in horror movies when there's that one character who has to sit there and shriek bloody murder except all that happened is that a kid knocked over a full pencil holder.

YAS QUEEN!
Jesus that shit's annoying. I've had to hear grown women shriek after setting a pan down or a metal object shifting.
"Oh my god you just scared the shit out of me! Don't do that again!"
Bitch why are you working at a fucking restaurant?

To be honest I think a lot of people don't realize how quiet they can be. I've gotten spooked by someone more or less appearing from around a corner but I also figure that's just me not really paying attention. Eventually I came to realize the person that does it is just extremely quiet. Fixed it by paying more attention and they did what they could to try to make a bit more noise. Worked out.

I've always found that odd but my guess is they're emulating TV or what have you where women shriek like a banshee if mildly startled.

Maybe I care too much, but I see it as an indicator of wider problems that annoy me:

Youtube channels that "explain" memes. Along with the zoomers that cry that it's "necessary for accessibility!". Not a single fucking meme or in-joke is allowed to be niche anymore.
Recently shit like Joeyy (Sam Hyde associate, wigger mumble rapper) & his retarded adlibs on his songs went from funny niche thing to zoomer trannies using it to make coom jokes.

Gatekeeping is a good thing and should ALWAYS be done ESPECIALLY against zoomers, faggots and trannies.

People that need to be high every second of their life.

I’m not against weed, I smoke it too. But the people who have no self control and are constantly taking rips off their pens or needing to smoke a bowl constantly irritate the fuck out of me. Moderation is key, and potheads suck to be around, dumb, lazy fuckers who can’t remember anything five minutes in the past.

Yeah that's a huge problem. Imo it's usually the culture around it.
I've been in cities where it's legalized and the people are hardworking and know the time and place.
I've also lived in poverty-ridden small towns where everyone is a bunch of low-effort, lazy niggers and weed just gives them another excuse to be.

I think the worst thing about it is the way americans fetishize it. I can't tell you the amount of times I've heard people talk about how they were on drugs with the same cadence and maturity of a 12 year old looking at porn. That or them waxing poetic about how legal it should be to the already converted.
You're not a rebel and you're not philosophical for rotting your brain on a daily basis. A cop or politician isn't waiting around every corner to have an argument with you about your drug of choice.
I really do think weed is a net negative for society. It's fun once in a while but the sheer escapism and inability to function like an adult in most people outweighs most of it's benefits.

Ireland has been mildly been grinding my gears. Well actually, an amazon seller from Ireland is. I ordered an album roughly beginning of march and only last night has the package actually entered in to their postal system. I know international shipping takes a while, but I don't get why it took so long for it to even start shipping.

i was reading up on james dean (as one does) and of course wikipedia being wikipedia (not my only source of info) had to dedicate the entire remainder of his page to be all "oh james dean is such an inspiration to the gay and androgynus of today. oh if only he could see how progessive and accepting the worlds' become since 1955." Listen danger hairs of wikipedia. James Dean was no fruit. Frankly that pisses me off in general all these op eds and fluff pieces about how all these great actors in the old Hollywood era were "repressed and oppressed," and "if they were alive today they'd be gay/queer/trans icons."

I'm aware Hollywood has ALWAYS been chocked full of pervs, degenerates, and all around fucked up people, but at least back in the golden age they kept that sorta thing behind closed doors and weren't shoving it in your face like they do now.

I want to go back to seven hours ago, when I didn't know people washed their meats from the supermarket with soap and water.

Also, people that try to dump soups or stews or any liquid dish with solid food in it down a drain with a food guard. Wound up helping custodians unclog their utility sink because some asshole dumped their leftover shrimp gumbo down it and clogged it up.

Reperations advocates. With the way they act, it doesn't matter if all ancestors of slaves get 5 million each year, they'll still demand more while claiming their pain is the biggest (see the 1619 group). Slavery was a very ugly thing that shouldn't have happened and while it made some people rich, not every farm and business owned slaves like that Proud Family reboot will have you believe.

MN is a great idea, but choose wisely.
Any crowdfunding platform has good intentions, but the grifters took over and now many normies won't use crowdfunding because too many users line their pockets with whatever donations they receive.

I absolutely hate every dipshit involved in the push to force us all onto apps
I hate when websites try to push mobile users into using their mobile apps? Why install yet another bloated, insecure app whenI can do what I need to do easily from a regular mobile browser?

As someone else already said, legalization of marijuana seems to have changed attitudes. It wasn't long ago that people knew how to be moderate with their vices whatever they may be: a beer or two, a joint with friends, wasting time online, etc. Now, people become so engrossed in their vices they can't function properly and wonder why their lives suck so bad.

Thread tax: It grinds my gears that Facebook will instaban someone for wrongthink, but it won't ban scam/bot accounts that post fake news about celebrity deaths or links to sketchy web sites -- and they justify the decision by saying the latter group's posts "don't violate community rules." 🤷‍♂️

Now that I think about it, professional race-baiters are another. We had such beautiful progress racially between the 70s to the 00s and now things are a mess. Making white people the scapegoat/boogeyman, while exalting other races as without sin and eternal victims, peddling defeat and anger over hope and personal responsibility, all of that isn't going to "heal" anything. It teaches to hate responsibility, hard work, acting logically, and being content.

I think we can all agree that when looking through history Ms. Frizzle was a great female leader.
She was a Jewish lesbian who was baking those children's blood into ritual sacrifice matzoh. All her magic came from killing the previous bus of kids and she used it to lure the next ones into her traps. :story:

Nosy Neighbours. Stop staring in my fucking window, weirdo.
Get curtains. It is apparently a trend to not have it, and I cannot fathom it. People can freely peek in all the time and burglars get an easier time to plan out whom to break into.
