All the emails are addressed to "James Shupe". For the most part they're interviewing him for a newspaper. As all the emails are dated 2019 or earlier, all these articles have probably been published. Person in question has a twitter (old), a wikipedia page, a wordpress as well as a thread here.

TLDR James Clifford Shupe was sexually abused as a child, with "Clifford" being the name of the abuser, which probably explains the transition. Served in the army 1982-2000. In 2016 James successfully petitioned to be called Jamie and to legally be considered non-binary. In 2019 Jamie detransitioned to James. In 2022 James transitioned to "Elisa Rae Shupe", female this time.

"Elisa Shupe" is currently a trans rights activist. On balance of probabilities, I don't think any hacking occurred at all, rather an old email account was simply dug up.

There are some dox in there lol. Then-James sent his address for "Care Package" purposes.
