But the water thing really boggles my mind. I feel like you'd get some loopy people by night fall. And then with a feast? You'd think in this day and age, knowing more about brain chemistry than we used to, they'd adjust the water rule. I can't imagine how crabby and non-spiritual people get to feeling enduring a daytime fast in sweltering heat.

But let's all remember that Chantal is not really Muslim and doesn't have to do any of this. And she isn't attempting it out of actual spiritual devotion. I will never believe she's not snacking in secret off camera. No way in hell.

Ramadan doesn't fall during the same season every year so it only falls during extreme weather some of the time.

There are also other options available to those who missed fasting during Ramadan, including fasting for a longer period at a different time and donating meals for others.

Lent is what people call "detox" these days.
Dry fasting during the day, binging all night if you want is counterproductive, whatever one's goal is - spiritual or physical.

I laugh when she talks about Islamophobia...on the Farms, at least, there's more respect given for her "religion" than she gives it. Call the waaaaaaahmbulance, Chantal. The reason why YouTube does nothing is that those videos don't break TOS.

It's almost 3 AM there, she can eat. People are saying she's hangry right now, but she would have just gorged herself and can eat/drink all she wants right now.
Edit: furthermore, it's only light out for 12 hours a day, the fasting is not a big deal at all and something people do all the time without even trying because they're too busy to eat breakfast/lunch.
