Spectre is just playing the long game. When Nick burns through all his money paying Randazza and is forced to go pro se, Spectre will step in and offer to ghostwrite his motions.

Rekieta's got a lot of issues, I'm sure, but I'm kinda doubtful at this moment Rekieta would ever be that stupid or desperate. He is technically still a lawyer himself.
Spectre is completely delusional if he thinks Randazza would take his case on contingency. I don’t think he’d even take Spectre’s case if he offered to pay double.

Spectre is a pathological liar. It's been thoroughly documented. This is Spectre puffing up his chest in an attempt to intimidate Monty and appear to be well-connected badass he isn't. It will only work if Monty is dumber that he is. Which I guess is debatable, really. This is a slightly less retarded variant of the time he told Zoom he was a Marine adjutant officer and was gonna go to the Pentagon and report him to General Mattis.
The fascinating thing about Spectre, to me at least, is not that he lies (there's
plenty of those people in the world), but that he tells
REALLY BAD and obvious lies. Then after he gets caught out, he just keeps inventing new outrageous lies. It's an amazing thing to watch. It's
why he's a lolcow. I think he might have actually surpassed Bryan Dunn on this point.
Randazza's yelling at him might have been in-part spurred by the unnecessary name drop along Spectre's ridiculous assertion that one of the top 1A attorneys in the country would actually mop up his diarrhea without being paid upfront (meanwhile, Rekieta has to pay Randazza in his case). In addition to the fact that I don't think anybody in Rekieta's camp would appreciate Spectre trying to self-insert himself into the case in any way. I'm no Monty fan, but Spectre stepped in the dogshit yet again by falsely claiming that Monty was convicted of a crime of moral turpitude, and now he's trying to spin his fuckup in the most ridiculous fashion imaginable.
At least it's always funny to watch, and that's the most important thing here on KF.
