Seems what the SJWs - or at least the tyranny that leads them - really wants is the bland cultureless "melting pot" of urban modern "society", where the "little people" are atomized and rootless big city dwellers who can't unite. A truly diverse world with different ways in different places - where different communities* of peoples can still get along - yet where people can still see (or even celebrate) the differences between them? That is an anti-SJW world.

*(real community and not SJW "community" that seems to mean merely having a common trait among rootless and atomized city dwellers)

Secular moral crusades are their busy work, and "status" is their wages.

I figured the "rule" was that we're only going back to whoever owned it before the current people. Still might make supporting the Ukraine a bit problematic, but I haven't heard of any SJWs who think Uncle Vlad should get his #landback...

That's actually a good point. Perhaps in a very limited context, they're useful precisely because their self-destructive ways make them less of a liability to their backers.

As far as society in general is concerned, they are certainly useless idiots.

They have to keep up these contradictions because accepting that many of their viewpoints are complete nonsense is "defeat". See how they justify the existence of troons because gender is a "social construct", yet have meltdowns when told to accept trans-age and trans-race.

Side note, but there was a thread in the happenings forum two weeks ago that showed how ridiculous the term "Indigenous" really is. In "official"/SJW contexts it ironically has nothing to do with actually being "native" to a land and everything to do with being an "oppressed minority". Especially outside of the New World.

The vast majority of peoples from Asia, Europe and Africa are native to their ethnic homelands. For example, the Irish and Japanese are native to Ireland and Japan respectively. Not India or Nigeria. Yet "official organizations" like the UN do not consider these people "Indigenous", largely because they form the ethnic majority of their countries. To SJWs and the like, being "Indigenous" inherently means power dynamics, "colonization" and "oppression". That's why it's okay for Injun tribes in the United States to fight for their "ancestral lands". But if the Irish or Japanese push back against multiculturalism, it's not considered an example of Indigenous people trying to preserve their land/culture. Instead, it 's labelled racist/xenophobic because they're being mean to foreigners.

And pointing out that many dictators and other peoples in history are Indigenous people, so long as they belong to the ethnic group(s) of the country they're from, would destroy the narrative that "Indigenous" peoples have no voice/opportunities.

So that "indigenous intellectual property" BS is really about preventing "oppressor groups" from copying the ways of "marginalized groups"? Figures. Also SJWs claim that restricting the use of certain ways "protects" those ways, which in reality is the opposite of protecting them: information that's more restricted is more likely to be forgotten than information which is more widely known.

(although to SJWs "protecting" certain ways likely really means "preventing white people from enjoying them")
