You also underestimate how unpopular such a measure would actually be among common Russians, not everyone here is a rabid zigger.
Again it has to be said that not being down with the excesses of US policies does not automatically make people want to support Russias policies. If anything what Russia has done has strengthened Global institutions rather then diminished them.
