Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Holy Shit. All I said was Russia wasn't doing so hot in a post that I made about the bullshit numbers Ukraine was putting out there saying they killed a gorillian Russians. I don't even support Ukraine. I'm just pointing out Russia isn't in that great of a spot from were they wanted to be a year ago. Is that seriously to sensitive of a topic?
Get him out of here. He has repeatedly breached containment. The JIDF and Pravda Ukraine sure aren't sending their best!

Because a quick war is always better than a slow one. I suspect Russia expected the Ukrainians to fold as quickly as they did 2014. Just because they wanted the easy route it doesn't mean they're not willing to do it the hard way.

Seems like they have the upper hand again and they're content to defeat Ukraine through attrition and positional warfare.
With all of American intelligence watching I doubt they want to concentrate too much in any place either. It's just a slow tragic grind.

A desperate army can use anything that shoots. Maxim still works so i guess nothing wrong in using it on a flatbed.
Of course it would be a Maxim technical, also known as a tachanka. It always ends up with tachankas.

I also recall the use of an armored train earlier, there were some posts about it.

Tbh this strikes me as just an outright glow post. Cuckchan /pol/ is pretty retarded, but it's always been suspicious of /x/ tier shit coming onto the board mainly because of posts like these and the likely intended purpose behind them.

Also, the combination of a Russian flag, and a US boomer posting style seems really sus.

Edit:
for anyone too lazy to type out those archives

It would have been a quick war if the MIC hadn't mobilised. Think of the money and arms given to Ukraine since the start of the conflict. Without them, Ukraine would have fallen.

Answers some of your questions

Anyway.

Russia’s Diesel Exports Heading for Record Despite EU Sanctions

Russia’s diesel exports are on course to hit a record this month despite European Union sanctions depriving the country of its biggest market.

Moscow is so far shrugging off concern that the bloc’s recent import ban would force it to reduce exports amid a lack of alternative buyers. Instead, Turkey, Morocco and other nations have stepped up purchases — though some cargoes from Russia are also being held in floating storage.

Shipments of diesel-type fuel out of Russia during the first 19 days of March stood at about 1.5 million barrels a day, according to Vortexa Ltd. data compiled by Bloomberg on Friday. If that rate is maintained, this month will see the highest exports in data going back to the start of 2016.

Archived shit.

Lol !

Edit

@Useful_Mistake Damn you nigga you beat me to the punch.

Yuri Aleksandrovich Bezmenov was never a KGB staff officer for the First Chief Directorate or any other unit of the Soviet intelligence services; he was never admitted to School 101, where prospective intelligence officers trained, or Lubyanka, and neither was he ever inside the KGB residency in India. Bezmenov was a low-ranking journo for RIA Novosti, one of the USSR's state news agencies, scored a post in India and wrote Soviet propaganda. A certain number of KGB officers worked undercover as journalists at RIA Novosti but not the 75% claimed by Bezmenov, and it's been proven he wasn't wasn’t one of them. After he switched sides, he did the same on behalf of his American handlers, primarily for right wing groups like the John Birch Society.

Bezmenov was a defector with limited importance trying to compensate for his unremarkable position by telling his new masters what they wanted to hear. It's also disturbing after being featured in a Call of Duty game, the gullible believe he was an important KGB agent despite all evidence to the contrary. Sort of like Boomers who believe everything they see in a movie (based on actual events!) or on the MSM news.

A thirty second web search will give you results for an accurate bio of Bezmenov. People need to think critically, since he was actually quite clever, mingling truth while validating his benefactor's paranoia.
