Dude, the UK and Australia have a very different cultural attitude towards guns than the US. It doesn’t directly translate. It would take a huge cultural shift to change attitudes against firearms in the US like it would take a huge cultural shift to turn Australia and the UK towards firearms.

Also when I looked at the account at around 3:50PM Tennessee time, it showed that the user was online at that time and the killer was already dead for a few hours at that point.

You're also forgetting that both the UK and Australia's borders are all water. Meanwhile, the US has thousands upon thousands of miles of a porous border. Banning guns would literally only give criminals guns because they would still get in the country.

I think I'm like most normies in wondering why does it matter whether the shooter is trans or not? They'll be eternally tormented for the heinous crime they did and robbing innocent lives. Unless them being trans is a motive for their actions (which, I have some doubts as of now, but will happy to eat crow if proven otherwise), the shooting is just turning into another bullshit culture warzone.

Many years ago when Barack Obama was President we had a white supremacist shoot up a Black church. The words uttered by the President was that we needed to have a national conversation about racism.

A little while later a Black man killed a White reporter and her camera man as retribution. No national conversation needed to be had. It was mostly a regional story.

The issue I personally have is unless we can realistically talk about certain issues, we will never be able to solve them.

How many comment sections of news and magazine articles have gone away? Why is it that any attempt to hold Blacks response for their actions is met with claims of racism? Why do the failures of minorities and women get blamed on the system we live in? Why are we increasingly seeing Whites prostrate themselves verbally before talking with minorities?

This is because anything outside of a certain limited discourse is prohibited in much of society. So when an opportunity presents itself, sure let's talk about this topic.
