China is the biggest trading partner for a good 80% of the planet, having reserves of Yuan on hand is perfectly fine and far more pragmatic than having US Dollars. The era of the US Dollar being required for trade is no longer a thing, the Yuan is the most valuable currency now, the US dollar being the reserve currency only exists because of inertia, the shift is already happening, it doesn't happen in a single day or even year, it happens over time. The British Pound and US Dollar were competing for years before the US Dollar sunset the British Pound as Reserve Currency.

It seems like the tranny was using a 9mm Kel Tec foldable stock rifle though the police keep on using the phrase of "assault style" as if a M1 Garand or Sten Gun from WW2 couldn't do the job, not that I am endorsing weapons to use in mass murder of innocent civilians.

Almost every gun law in existence violates the constitution, and it never stopped congress from passing them before. The supreme courts isn't infallible which is why people have been talking about expanding it for the last few years. If they always made the most constitutionally sound decisions, no one would care how many justices there are and what political parties appointed them. They are a political body that will happily ignore the constitution when it serves them.
Funny enough, the only constitutional gun laws you could pass would be barring gun ownership from black, Italian, and Irish people. Bruen was an amazing decision.
