Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

F 16. I loved those cool looking planes...

.... when I was a little kid in the 20th century.

Now I am not saying they can't be well maintained.

But they may not be a wonderwaffle without the rest of the US army and trained pilots.
It is not a bad plane at all, if its the one the USAF uses, but if you get the export version, with the exception of Israel's they don't have all our bells and whistles.

Came across this:

"What's this?"
"Don't know"
lol

This is one of the things that I really don't get in all these. If the Yooros can't uphold their side of the faustian bargain why should Uncle Sam?
Because they already pay for it by trading in dollars and backing their gay funny money with dollars. The entire arrangement since the 70s has been the US gets an endless credit card for military expenditures for all of its allies, and in exchange they prop up the bankrupt US state since no country can afford a generous welfare state and a military to defend its borders. Since the collapse of Bretton Woods the unspoken agreement has been--you buy in to the dollar recycling machine and we keep you safe from your nearest revisionist neighbor.

This is falling apart as the US' genetic, political, social, and fixed capital collapses from being drunk on unlimited credit from retarded, corrupt politicians in East Asia and Europe.

What happened to the previous wunderwaffen? Does Ukraine have operational Bayraktars and HIMARS? I have not heard too much about them lately.
I can't believe we are still at the "fighter jets for Ukraine" stage. It has been discussed for a year why it would be a stupid idea, especially, if the jets are western.
They still have the HIMARS, the problem is Russia moved highly sophisticated AA in which means more missiles are being intercepted. Also it was said awhile ago that the Ukrainians rely on the US for positioning and firing. Not to mention with manufacturing difficulties, as with the Lockheed factory being overwhelmed from orders from both the US and other NATO countries (I think Poland ordered 80 of them), they can't really use them all that much. Kind of like they shot their load, Russia got wise and they're far more conservative with missiles. Also its full on total war with electronic warfare, so I imagine scouting and getting positional data for those HIMARS to fire on are a lot harder now than when Russia was spread thin.
LMAO. Imagine if we promised F-35s. Oh, we'll promise them....2 years later. Long after everything is done lol.
If we gave Ukrainians F-35s before any of our other buyers, we would get shanked in the fucking kidneys. Not to mention we're not going to give them something actually worth money. A lot of this has been dumping old stocks and getting weapons systems that haven't seen a modern war field tested. Anything they're getting are hand-me-downs. The US is going to have trouble meeting its own needs due to supply chain constraints and the way the chain is set up. We're already starting to cannibalize our own stocks, and some of the aid being sent is basically for stuff that isn't produced yet because NATO cannot catch up to Russia.

And building new munitions factories in the West is a huge pain in the ass. Two years to catch up is an optimistic projection.
Totally not a sign a second economic bloc is forming. Everything is good, nothing to see here folks. I guess the past 30 years of the US going, "No, you want our help, you're going to act in our interest or else" really wasn't a sustainable diplomatic posture. Who the fuck knew, huh?
...is an old outdated F-16C going to be the next wonder weapon?
Well, Biden claims he won't give them F-16s, though we are sending them 30 year old Abrams. So uh, maybe? The problem is the time and money spent training the pilots. By the time they'd actually be useful the war would be over. I know our top advisors are predicting Russia will gain 'little' this year, but the last time the top military advisors said something, it was that Afghanistan would take 2 months to fall, and instead it fell in under 2 weeks, in a theater where we supposedly supreme in. So I don't trust anything these stupid fucks have to say. Especially in a place where fog of war and propaganda dominates.

With Russia's modern AA systems, it isn't worth it at all to give them F-16s when they're just going to get blown the fuck up. Not to mention is it really going to matter? With the sheer amount of AA in theater, only now is Russia doing anything with its air power and its still being conservative with it.

To go into this sort of war with an outdated jet is fucking suicide.

UN rejected the proposal to investigate the sabotage of Nord Stream pipeline the other day and now Norway is concerned there are Russian sumbarines peeking above the water right over Norway’s oil and gas pipelines located in the North Sea.

I cannot imagine why. If something blows up, it will clearly be the work of pro-Ukrainian patriotic rebels unaffiliated with the Ukrainian government.

Too bad Biden have broken out his most wonderful weapon from its prison.

Putin better have Baba Yaga ready to counter some heavy Curse ye hamehas.

The ghostarchive link won't load - does this article specifically address the price cap point? As far as I've been aware, the price cap seems to have been holding lately so would be interesting if intermediary purchasers are shrugging it off.
Works fine for me. The article does not mention the price cap, but they do include a graph of the price Russia sells at to Europe and how much Europe pays to buy from not Russia (US and the Middle East). Both are above price cap.

Here's the original story:

Here's the relevant graph:

Price cap is $60 per barrel, and Russia is selling it at $75 per barrel.
wait am I be retarded or is the country pledging these not have them?
This is called "the Lithuanian promise". Basically, it's when you (a country) promise to donate something to another country that you do not have, simply to soak up the PR points. You can see here the event that spawned the original Lithuanian promise:
Well, Russia is done for now. Lithuania is sending tanks it doesn't have! Lithuania's Schrodinger Tank Battalion will destroy the Evil Russia!

Isn't the policy that every link and tweet has to be archived? Was just providing that cause you usually edit them in.
I gotta think someone who speaks Ukrainian would be better at this. Or just maybe sms. Unless the real goal is to make a bunch on money disapear into NGOs and glowing shell companies.

This is not only cringe, but extremely tasteless and arrogant.

It is arrogant to assume that people in a foreign country, all understand English and watch movies with original audio. Most people, outside of the anglosphere, associate Luke's voice with whoever dubbed him, instead of Mike Fucking Hamill.
This is a moot point however, because I honestly doubt, that the people whom are stuck in a god damned war zone, ever gonna learn about this app's existence and download it. I have a feeling 5G coverage might be a little spotty and their phone batteries do not magically stay charged without electricity. Somehow, I doubt they are hoping to hear a washed up celeb from Hollywood reassuring them. Call me crazy, but they probably long to hear their sons', husbands', fathers' voice again. You know, the ones whom are dying in droves for US interests in the meat grinder. Also, I doubt when artillery shells and missiles rain down upon them, the only thing they can think of, is fucking Star Wars.
But maybe it's just me. Maybe I am the one, who is out of touch.

My God!

Well I decided to look into the F-16 program.

Official F-16 page at Lockheed Martin

It is now currently at the Block 70/72 with some recent testing done, and planned deliveries to the Arabs primarily.

Lockheed Martin Announces Successful First Flight Of F-16 Block 70 Aircraft

The USAF currently uses the Block 52.

Though I doubt Lockheed Martin will piss off the Arabs by delivering the F-16V over to the hohols.

Also the WSJ put out a piece today.

The author is a member of the COFR.

Basically thanks to Biden and the neolibs, that other nations are deciding to plan for a post Pax American future when it comes to security arrangements.
