When you're severely anti-gun and your only exposure to guns is videogames, you go in thinking that "switching weapons is faster than reloading".

Tennessee in this case, seems to have requirements that most states seem to have to become licensed armed security

It isn't about makeing copy-paste from other countries regulations. It will not work simply because in US are already many guns and also people will not get quickly enough how new regulation will work.

The single thing I'm suggesting should USA do is to make somekind gun license to at least not sell guns to idiots ('if you like to buy gun go to town hall, take a test and bring a paper from MD that you are not psycho') with penalty if you handle a gun to a obviously idiot. This will not prevent all of shootings, but should reduce number of two neural individuals with guns.

Idea of simple and clear law is great, but in most cases it will not work because two things:

- wrongdoing officials will still be wrongdoing. An if the court will be corrupted or pointed by parliament it will be always taking side of law enforcers. So to ensure that officials aren't wrongdoing you should take care of their quality in first place,
- You can just wrote 'if one forces another person to have sex will go to prison up to 20 years' but in very first case you will meet problems like what is forcing someone to do something. Or what means 'having sex'. So you will wrote another lines to define both of this, to make difference when someone is forced by using force or by blackmailing and so one.

We can make a thread in mass debating to try to construct any law you wish and check where is the level of minimal law in choosed field.

And this is only about criminal law. When it go into more technical fields (like which type of brake should be used in train cars) it is also some issue which lawmakers who simply will not get what is going about.

I luv the idea of arming teachers more than idea of fortifing schools. Seriously, what can possibly go wrong when you arm thousands of people with various issues? Backcheck of teachers is good enough that they never commited a crime against pupils, so they should be obligated to have guns in schools.

Not realizing guns and their ammunition have weight. Would have been smarter to either just have the rifle, or the rifle and pistol as backup. Surprised she didn't buy a steel helmet off amazon with all that fuckin gear.
