Old Idubbbz: Confident, pointed out others' hypocrisy, unashamed of who he was, a geeky guy with glasses who sat at his computer making videos. Was edgy and didn't seem to give AF as long as he was targeting someone who deserved it like Tana or Ricegum.

Post-Anisa Idubbbz: Not confident, continually trying to pose as one of the enlightened, in-crowd, and seeking to do so by preserving a very specific social circle of other milquetoast YouTubers. Manages to look worse than ever by having his wife dress him up in a childish manner that is trying to be cool in an I-don't-care way instead of actually not caring. No longer delivers biting critiques of people who deserve it, but instead uses blanket terms (we want to foster positivity and inclusiveness) to excommunicate people from his circle... people he was desperate to collab with two seconds ago. And he tells you how mature he's become while being a 32-year-old man whose latest fulfilling project was making a Thanos fidget toy.

How Anisa managed to turn the first into the second is still a bit of a mystery to me, but I think it does have to do with the huge gap between real-life interactions and YouTube. Idubbbz was good at YouTube, terrible at real life, and he knew it, so took the first opportunity he had.
