The neighbour was a disinterested third party who had no reason to make this up and had nothing else negative to say. They said there were multiple stickers left on the door.

In my opinion, Chantal is guilty of neglect, anyway. Not abuse. An overstretched animal control department are going to be looking for serious abuse before interfering and even if they had cast an eye over those cats and said they were ok, it doesn’t mean a single thing.

She was neglectful. She just hates to be told the truth. I have no idea what she thinks ‘intentional neglect’ is or why it’s worse than other neglect. Neglect is neglect and a brief knock up by Animal Control probably wouldn’t result in anything.

Continued neglect led to her cats matting, claw overgrowth, undiagnosed thyroid and cardiac issues and urinary infection. Truth. Suck it up and stop deflecting. She was too depressed to ensure her animals had adequate vet care and a clean environment but not too depressed to galavant around Canada, making fast food and ‘outhouse runs’ and streaming to YouTube for hours. ‘Deep depression’ this was not. This was laziness and selfishness.

Misuse your caps lock button all you want. Hurl abuse at people whilst complaining that people abuse you. It doesn’t change the past. You can’t change the past and you don’t get to relegate to the irrelevance of ‘the past’ until you own it and apologise where necessary. This is true for everyone.

I started listening to MATI regularly after Metokur's retirement. Josh has proven himself to be a more than suitable replacement. A few episodes back he devoted the majority of the stream to this fat mess and it piqued my interest.

Unfortunately this thread is full of shitty, lengthy, irrelevant posts that are essays on people's personal feelings on Chantal. Even worse, many of them are highlighted so even going through the highlights is an arduous task as only 1/4 of them are actual updates on Chantals tomfoolery.

There are quite a few documentary style videos on youtube, I would maybe watch those instead since this thread is a pain in the ass to read if you haven't been keeping up with it regularly.
