China doesn't want to sell things for Yuan. They purposely manipulate their currency to manage their economy and a sudden influx of billions in foreign held Yuan could affect their domestic stability. Essentially, they would have to absorb Russia's economy into a single system run by Beijing. Sounds like a pretty bad idea. So we come back to the first point. China doesn't want to accept payment from foreign entities in Yuan, so they don't.
