Some thoughts no one asked for:
This one has made me pretty emotional. I'm not numb to these events in general, but this one got me bad. I guess it's because the shooter is a woman. There's something really dark and unnatural about a woman, even an autistic gender retard like this one, killing little children. When women kill kids, a) it's extremely rare and b) it's usually their own kids in a bathtub because they're in psychosis or whatever, even more rarely it's a crazy serial killer nurse. The handful of the "other female school shooters" are basically women and girls taking revenge on people they know, not spree-killing little kid strangers. An adult human female indiscriminately murdering little children is dark as shit. Feels like a culture that produces female child-killers is a culture in a state of collapse, frankly.
I don't really think these shootings are about "mental illness". When you go to a zoo, and you see an elephant rocking side to side in a cage, do you say that the elephant has mental illness? Modern life is warped and insane. Increasing numbers of people are too weird and defective to find a place in the hypercompetition of current year, and then they spend many years isolated and online, getting radicalized on a steady drip of mass media and social media, becoming crazy, entitled, violently degenerate narcissists who believe that their own pain is a form of pain never before seen in the universe, that the gap between their own lives and the magical prosperous pleasure-filled lives they see in their tiktok feed is a crime against humanity and they are justified in lashing out and destroying other people.
There is a political element to this that is only going to get worse. In the 1990s, race relations in the US were basically okay-adjacent. Starting in the 2010s, Americans have been fed a steady diet of racial paranoia and lies. Now something insane like 7/10 blacks think they're at personal risk of being the victim of a violent hate crime. There is just no way that kind of sentiment doesn't lead to an increase in violence coming from the paranoid group, and indeed, observe 2020 and beyond.
Same for the troon cult, just think of all the crazy AGP bros who spend all day masturbating and screaming into the void on Twitter about genocide (see the very gender blobby
r/SocialistRA's response to the Nashville shooting (
archive), where "stay safe" means "buy more guns").
I see no way this doesn't turn into a surge of spree violence by troons against TERFS, churches, politicians, etc. Someone like Hale got radicalized by the troon cult, I have zero doubt, in basically the same way retards who run away to join terror groups get radicalized. Hale murdered little kids in a school because she was too autistic and weird to find a place in the world, she decided that "I'm actually a boy" was the cause of, and solution to, all her life problems, the internet fed her a diet of rage and entitlement about her "oppression", she became so radicalized that she came to see her personal situation as a profound injustice done to her on purpose by people and institutions who deserved punishment, and then she bought some guns. There are thousands and thousands of people just like her out there.
My favorite doom academic, Peter Turchin, wrote an interesting/depressing short series on mass shootings from a decade ago.
Here's the final one, with an excerpt I think is relevant:
First, a recap. I have argued that indiscriminant mass murder (IMM) has been seriously misinterpreted. It is not just another type of crime, but a form of political violence. More precisely, suicide terrorism. It is not motiveless. But the motive is not to kill a specific person, or persons, but to strike at a social group, at an institution, or at the society as a whole. ‘Indiscriminant’ is the key word coding for the Principle of Social Substitution.

The rampage shooters see themselves as moralistic punishers striking against deep injustice. In a perceptive opinion at New York Times, Adam Lankford writes, “we should think of many rampage shooters as nonideological suicide terrorists” (I would remove ‘nonideological’ because many such killers in my database were ideologically motivated). He then points out that a common factor in both rampage shooters and suicide terrorists is “a deep sense of victimization and belief that the killer’s life has been ruined by someone else, who has bullied, oppressed or persecuted him.” I would add that this ‘someone else’ does not need to be a person (a point that Lankford acknowledges elsewhere in his opinion). In fact in the case of IMM (with an emphasis on the I), it is usually a group, an organization, an institution, or the whole society that are held responsible by the killer.
Because of how Turchin's research works, he's basically using math and science(tm) to predict flows of political chaos and death.
Here's a post where he "predicts" waves of significant political violence in the 2020s. The post is from 2017. Those of you who see this shooting as political and as a warning for what's to come may very well be intuiting something real.
TL;DR: Western civilization is collapsing and I literally blame troons.
