I tought Oxycoton is the last resort in terms of Nerv pain Meds & not something ordinary you give to a patient just because he has "pain". I mean isn't it something you get if you had some fucked up accident or have Tumor/etc on a really terrible nerv hitting spot?

Irresponsible doctors can and will prescribe oxy when it's not really needed, although doctors are becoming more and more cautious about doing so. I have a relative who's now addicted to oxy because she was put on it for a knee replacement and back pain (the back pain was caused by being overweight and sedentary, easily fixable). She's been on oxy for 10+ years now and has to get regular oxy injections.

Typically, it's the healthy patients who would be targeted, especially if the killer nurse is doing so to make more money via working overtime. Much like with the stroke itself, Jack's unhealthy lifestyle would protect him from the worst.

One of my best friend's friends is a religious wacko who believes in faith healing. I had a shoulder injury and he insisted on faith healing it by praying for it.
