You're right that the fed's have never been violently overthrown, however a modern day uprising would, at best, be like The Troubles and at worst the occupation of Iraq/Afghanistan. Either way, large swaths of the US would quickly become ungovernable and economically unproductive. Of course, the fed's could "survive" but they would essentially become irrelevant as they only areas they could reliably control would be bits and pieces of the usual suspects (NYC, Chicongo, LA, DC). TLDR: It would be extremely nasty and the country, especially the fed's, would be absolutely fucked.

To answer your last question, we should absolutely ban troons from buying firearms. By any person with an IQ above room temperature, troons meet the definition of "mental defective" and blocking firearms purchases via NICS would be extremely easy; the background check can see previous ID changes, and when Troony McTroon shows it's ID to run the background check and the gender marker is different from that on previous records, it's an automatic rejection. If they want to appeal, have at it, but if gender dysphoria is declared a disqualifying condition, they're basically admitting to being a complete nutter.

Once that manifesto is released, I'm hoping a few Republicans decide to take Brandon up on his call for more gun control and purpose what I posted above.
