In his CC1 training documentary, he said something about being at his physical and mental low before signing on to fight in the event. I think he credits idubbbz and Anisa with giving him the motivation to pull himself together a bit (eating better, working out, slowing down on the weed puffing). This doesn't excuse the rampant kike backstabbing we're seeing here, but I think that misplaced gratitude paired with the panic of sinking back into irrelevancy is his motivation rather than any sort of blackmailing or instruction from idubbbz/Anisa.
