PUCK YOU SIR

Ahem.

Anyhow. Flag burning. It triggers me. Not because I'm a super patriot, but because it's pathetic, really; a lazy and meaningless form of protest against nothing in particular other than to be an edgelord. It's like, oh, I don't know, flapping your arms and having a shit fit when someone disagrees with you, or listening to Rage Against The Machine. Abuser with a power complex my cunting arse her old man is. Someone who tried and tried to help and bent over backwards to assist her, more like, but was sick to the back teeth of her ridiculous antics and taking his money while acting like a spoilt teenager.

I don't know anyone, online or offline, who's anti military who's not either 15 years old or a perpetual university student, usually on some sort of fluffy skive-off college course.

I assume these are a couple of the people shacking up at their parents house (or was). The one on the right is leahs partner.

Of course, having no respect of the house and treating it like a shithole:

Because they're ungreatful cunts. Reading through her dads facebook, he seems like an awesome dad. She pissed away her life while doing her political science major.

Also we aren't the only ones tracking her. The guys at fort leavenworth are pretty pissed off about her actions too.

Having first hand experience with people like this, I tend to think that they don't understand the amount of hard work that goes into building a life, that they think everything is simply handed to them

They have the trademark 'happy faces' of people who have nowhere to go in life, nothing to do in life, and sincerely believe that this is perfectly okay. You can see it from a mile away; that look of slightly maniac cheerfulness tinged with just a hint of growing instability that foreshadows the hysterical tantrums that inevitably ensue the moment they're knocked out of their carefree bubble of self-centered narcissism.

Burning the flag is protected free speech.
As is disapproving of burning the flag.

These folks gotta learn that "free speech" doesn't mean carte blanche running your mouth; it means the government won't interrupt the dialogue. And if that dialogue includes cutting financial ties and kicking you to the curb, tough shit.

While burning the American flag is technically legal the act itself says "I'm a huge asshole and my cause is worthless shit."

I have to say, I didn't know it was a human right to sponge off your old man who probably employed you circumventing other more qualified candidates because he loves you and wants to help you get on in life and then throw it back in his face by being an edgelording ingrate.

Something about Leah just really tears at my heartstrings. Maybe it's got something to do with her being like Fire, in that she was a seemingly ordinary person who got affiliated with the social justice crusade which poisoned her mind.

There's just something about Tumblr culture which sucks ordinary people in and infects and twists their core values, and so what could have once been a successful person with a solid bond between friends and family becomes a homeless tranny with no friends, no family, and no money. What hurts the most reading this is how genuine and kind her father was in giving her a place to stay and an opportunity to earn a living and build up her resume, only for her to blow it.

I just don't even know what to say, but god damn do I hope she's able to change and reconcile with her family. *sigh*

I have to agree with her: dealing with the consequences of your actions and being friends with your dad on fb are absolutely signs of, if not the founding blocks of, Orwellian fascism. She's very brave for standing up to the First National Bank of Dad. She socials the justice well.
