I have a feeling that the manifesto is going to be released by Friday, in the hopes that the common man will have forgotten all about this by Friday.

I doubt this "quiet release" tactic will work, because non-leftist commentators will immediately pick up on it and use it to rejuvenate public interest in troon terrorism. That is, if something even worse hasn't happened yet by then.

One of the victims’ funeral is on Friday. I doubt they’ll release the manifesto on the day of a victim’s funeral.

I think it’ll be much more likely that they’ll release it much later, if at all. The claim from the FBI is that they want to form a criminal profile of the shooter, which gives them an excuse to sit on it for as long as they want.

I also want to remind people that the Nashville Christmas bomber had a bunch of writings that the feds and the media have refused to release for reasons. Don’t be surprised if they drag their feet on the manifesto’s release.

Real-life social isolation facilitated by a number of cultural factors definitely will make violence a possibility. Not having family is rough but also not having any kind of social network in person (via a job, church, social interest group, etc.) is really what will make a lot of NEETs crack. Still though, I think by that point they'd be more likely to just kill themselves, mass violence does appear to still be associated with the relatively young.

Not letting me quote you, but - yeah my suspicion about what happened there mainly concerns the ridiculous volume of guns (why would a lone wolf shooter need that), not one but two weird brothers (the cp one is especially bizarre), and as you said, the fact that there really is no official documentaries or mainstream content about the event. No manifesto either, with that grandiose of a massacre wouldn't you want to tell the world why you did it? Most of these shooters who feel wronged by society leave a manifesto.

Nearly a thousand people were injured. Someone opened fire on a crowd from a hotel window on the Vegas strip, that is not a minor event. And from a gun control perspective it has more teeth to it than these smaller scale events that people get ginned up over.

Then on the other side you have no one to turn but social media because you can’t fit in socially telling you how oppressed you are and it’s all because of white people racism and Christianity and that you need to fight back because they are trying to kill you it’s absolute nonsense and the fact tik tok and Facebook openly allow content like that should be alarming.

I feel very grateful I am an adult with a fully grown brain I’m trying to imagine what life is like for a teenager in the current year and it must be pure chaos and confusion.

I wasn't intending to tell you to be blackpilled about it. People marry, divorce, and remarry at all ages. But I do agree with the original point that a lot of millennials (of both genders actually) may feel very bitter and angry by middle-age. It's not just a matter of people not marrying and having kids, people in general are less satisfied with life as real-life communities are being dissolved and the online space is increasingly shrinking and becoming more restricted. Consider the fact that niche forums are by and large are dying out in favor of the amorphous micro-dopamine social media space.

But, that's genuinely on the off-topic side, so I will digress.
