Random question, the cysts in Luna’s brain, would they be comparable to blisters you get on your heel from new shoes? Or something different? Sorry not a medfag.

No. From my understanding, theyre basically filled pockets of dead brain tissue cause by her birth injury. I'm not a medfag, but from what I understand tl;dr being stuck in Robyn's snatch killed a shitton of brain tissue, which then filled with cerebral-spinal fluid uncontrollably.Random question, the cysts in Luna’s brain, would they be comparable to blisters you get on your heel from new shoes? If only it would work as well on Luna (the other pet who would have suffered less had she been euthanised).Worked real well on Marley the dog.
Pediatric specialists are frequently willing to try things that adult physicians are not. Part of this is the fact that, perhaps counterintuitively, children are often able to tolerate treatments and procedures that an adult could not. For example, children often do better with chemotherapy and can actually receive higher doses than adult patients. It wasn’t that he was fooled. Is it possible he was pushing boundaries? Maybe, but he has to be able to justify why if things had gone sour. I kind of doubt it though, he knew a shunt wasn’t going to give Luna a functioning life.
There are pictures of brains with multicystic encephalomalacia in this post. As others have said, the cysts are filled with CSF and "cellular debris". I actually think that a blister is a pretty good way to think about them, you'll get no trash cans from me.Random question, the cysts in Luna’s brain, would they be comparable to blisters you get on your heel from new shoes? He did it when some of the "cysts" merged into a larger "mega cyst" so it probably was to help palliatively since it was now possible to shunt at least some of the fluid. There's zero chance that he wasn't aware of Luna's diagnosis or its ultimate prognosis, and there's zero chance that he was somehow coerced into placing the shunt by Robyn against his will. There's even less chance that he performed the shunt surgery without ordering an MRI first. He knew, and he thought that the potential reduction in Luna's suffering merited the risk of surgery.
She will die. It's not a question of if, but rather when. Just know that every moment she remains alive she's in incredible pain, even if she can't actually register it.So how will it actually end for Luna? I've been lurking on here for a couple of years, though not thoroughly, so excuse my probably stupid question. But it seems like 1-2 years ago everyone was sure that Luna would be kicking the bucket imminently, and it just... hasn't happened.
Will her head keep growing? Will the fluid keep building up and putting pressure from within, and the remains of her brain will continue to be destroyed?
She seems kind of stable in her potatohood right now. .
I love the money she spends on rocks to “heal” everything. It’s hilarious. Not a rock she feels drawn to, something she buys that someone tells her is for whatever woo bs.Grow up and stop play with tacky rocks, Robyn.
It looks like a cupcakeRobyn, are the ‘Vogel crystals’ precisely cut ‘angels’ or angles?
You fucking nitwit. You don’t know the difference do you?
Why should anyone buy something from you? Because you crotch strangled your baby?
(Apologies for my tone. Ffs)
