I’ve just caught up and this has to be one of the most fascinating and frustrating threads to read on the Farms.

Around page 400 or so I was certain I’d soon be reading about Robyn’s meltdown over Luna’s death, but to my amazement 542 pages in and she is still fucking here. Incredible. Tragic.

Seeing the callous way the PT, OT, and SLP handle Luna, the obvious signs that Luna is constantly seizing that everyone chooses to ignore (and make no mistake, it is an active choice; you can tell because when Luna’s eyes go wonky or anguish twists her face, Robyn will immediately redirect the camera) and the blatant lying to and manipulation of her followers just makes me simultaneously livid and heartbroken.

But for some reason I can’t look away. Every clip Robyn shares is a window into what a human body does under distress without conscious interference.

Every time she is forced to hold her own massive head up, you see her eyes go distant and her mouth agape… her body is going into panic mode! If you left her like that for more than a minute, the body would start to give out from extreme exertion.

I could honestly discuss every facet of this horrible situation for hours but much of what I feel about it has already been said, so I’ll close out this long (sorry) post.

Looks like either the womb ghost ancestors run the pyramid scheme or Robyn has no consistent understanding of the bullshit phrases she uses. 🤔

Perhaps the womb ghosts siphon off the vitality of the womb to power the MLM schemes? I think that’s how Lularoe worked back in the day too.

Robyn: smart enough to know pyramid schemes are A Bad Thing, too stupid to recognize synonyms for “pyramid scheme.”

I will likely get hate for this but here we go. Was just thinking that despite Robyn's woo and hate for science-based medicine, she's ultimately the victim (no, Luna is) of everything she tries so hard to defy. When Luna was diagnosed with her condition, doctors said to go home and allow Luna to pass. That would have been the right thing to do. I get the idea of letting your child die is soul crushing but at least those doctors were straight with her... but then good ole Robyn ventures out, doctor shops and finds the neurosurgeon in California. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn't really know what he was getting himself into and had pure intentions but the shunt he inserted is basically the reason why this thread has over 500 pages. Did he not know the shunt was futile? Was it an experiment? A curiosity he wanted to satisfy? (from what i've researched, he does seem like a trail blazer in his field). That surgery did nothing but perpetuate Luna's suffering and even if she's technically not suffering, I still don't think she should be tossed around like a meat puppet with physical therapy, etc. I guess my point is that as much as Robyn hates doctors and thinks she's cracked the code to living outside of the system, she is the system's victim. Those quack therapists are probably making a shit ton of money off of her (I mean Glenn) while she's being delusional about her daughter's condition.
That's not to say I share her beliefs on allopathic medicine or am against it, quite the opposite. But in this case, I think Robyn got exactly what she so smugly claims is beneath her.

So the surgery happened due to the situation at the time meaning intakes were done via phone/virtual. He chose to do what he did based on what Robyn self-reported. When Luna got there he pretty much told her it was a waste and Luna would probably die on the table.

Its highly likely that robyn didn't truthfully explain exactly what Luna's ailment was to the Doctor that placed the shunt.

It is speculated that Robyn explained that Luna had a form of hydrocephalus that was genetic, and not the traumatic brain injury she endured from a three day long strangle snatch fest that resulted is dead brain tissue turning into multiple cysts. At the time, there was alot of teledoc and virtual doctor visits so Robyn most likely just gave the Doctor the info that SHE wanted to beleive and the doctor probably didnt realize how bad the situation was untill he actually had Luna on the table and saw into her melon head.

Shunts in a typical hydrocephalus case tend to work because there is usually only 1 or sometimes 2 main fluid cavities that can be drained whereas Luna now has multiple fluid fuild cysts. The shunt helps alittle, but it cannot drain all the fluid.

I would hope to believe if the Doctor had been informed fully what Luna's condition actually were he would have never installed the shunt.

From his reasoning the cysts had merged into a mega cyst. It may possibly have been done for pain maintence because if your entire head is under pressure thats going to be excruciating.
This is the only reasoning that makes any sense. Neurologists do not rely on patient self-reports for brain surgery. They need to do CTs, MRIs, whatever. Tests have to be done to ensure the patient can survive the anesthesia, won’t bleed out, etc. not to mention the documentation that insurance companies require for payment.

This doctor knew full well what Luna’s condition was. Robyn is a horrible communicator and delusional as well, so her story can’t be trusted. The idea that a legit doctor would do any surgery based on a patient’s word is ludicrous, even more so the patient’s mother. Given that he apparently is a well-known and admired surgeon in his community, I’m going to assume there is an actual medical reason to give Luna a shunt.

It wasn’t that he was fooled. Is it possible he was pushing boundaries? Maybe, but he has to be able to justify why if things had gone sour. I kind of doubt it though, he knew a shunt wasn’t going to give Luna a functioning life.

Pain control makes better sense than anything else.

I forget if Luna was still on hospice or not, but if so, hospice also does not mean that no treatment is offered. It’s just given in the spirit of allowing the patient to live as comfortably with as much function for as long as possible instead of trying to cure. Pain control fits that context. I think the rumor that the doctor was played (by Robyn of all people) needs to be let go. He wasn’t.

All that and they are going to kill Luna by allowing her to inhale raw milk- aspiration pneumonia in a child who can’t even cough with clueless parents, so no warning until the fever is high.
