We've mentioned Mark's wikisperrg buddy Gamaliel aka Robert Fernandez before in this thread. Fernandez is still causing drama related to that Wikipedia arbitration case against him for chimping out back in April. During the case one of the arbitrators had relayed that, among other things, Fernandez had supposedly resigned from his position on the Wikimedia D.C. board of directors, and for the duration of the case had been claiming he was "unable to edit" Wikipedia. If you've seen enough of wikispergs you'll know that was almost certainly a lie. and, like clockwork, Fernandez started coming back shortly after the case had ended (ArbCom went easy on him because he was claiming he was being blackmailed), including mentioning on some of his profiles that he was still on the board of directors.
This discrepancy made David Auerbach (a journalist who had been following the arbitration) curious so on July 1st he sent out emails to ArbCom and Wikimedia D.C. to ask whether Fernandez is still on the board. Fernandez found out about these inquiries and chimped out, going onto Twitter to try and get Auerbach fired.
Adam Hyland, one of Fernadez's pals who works at the Wiki Education Foundation, also joined in on the witch hunt.
Auerbach was rightfully pissed off and tried to talk to Molly White (a Wikipedia admin and arbitrator) and Emily Temple-Wood (another admin, arbitrator, and Wikimedia D.C. board member) about Fernandez and Hyland threatening his career. Auerbach was mainly ignored and ridiculed in response. The next morning Fernandez began to backpedal and lied that he hadn't been trying to damage Auerbach's career, then in a crude imitation of Nora Reed he started bitching that people with more followers than him had become aware of what he did, then put his account on private. Eventually David Auerbach went private, then outright deleted his account. Fernandez deleted his account on Tuesday after a Breitbart article came out about his actions.
Anyway, Mark has, surprisingly, not been sperging out about it, with most of his recent activity being dedicated to raging about that Trump /pol/ meme thing.
Mark did finally go back to some wikispergery, insulting Molly White (the same one Auerbach had tried and failed to have a discussion with) by bringing up wikispergs when White was complaining about someone trolling her on Twitter and support not banning them.
