A Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Donald J. Trump on Thursday for his role in paying hush money to a porn star, according to four people with knowledge of the matter, a historic development that will shake up the 2024 presidential race and forever mark him as the nation’s first former president to face criminal charges.
The felony indictment, filed under seal by the Manhattan district attorney’s office, will likely be announced in the coming days. By then, prosecutors working for the district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, will have asked Mr. Trump to surrender and to face arraignment on charges that remain unknown for now.

Any legal farmers here that can give an idea of what actual charges he could be getting (in relation to this stormy shit), and what the max sentence would even be? Anonymous sources are saying up to 30 possible counts, which seems like a crazy number just for hush money using campaign funds.

If they are charging him with something that would only land him minimal time in prison anyways, the NY prosecutor is a short-sited mongoloid.

Holy shit they did it... let the LASTING shit show that is about to commence, commence. I would not want to be a dem pol class with any dirty, semi-dirty or maybe dirty dealings in a rep controlled place. They just plunged the political system and country into a new low of political warfare.

I am reminded of election night 2016 when people, even in media and politicians, basically right out and saying "charge or impeach him, it doesn't matter for what, we'll find something." part two finally coming true. We have just crossed into 3rd world clown show level politics.

No one knows anything as the second the ink dried on the charges Bragg locked every thing up.

No on knows what's he's charged with, what proof was given or even who gave it. Everything is locked up as tight as Biden's child porn stash.

What if New York tries to send a goon squad down to Florida to arrest Trump? What if Florida goons stop them from doing that? What if it devolves into violence? What if the White House picks a side in that slapfight & it escalates into something serious? The Trump lawsuit itself is probably just as bullshit as the rest. That's not the most likely catalyst for civil conflict. The real catalyst would be U.S. states refusing to oblige each other or trying to assert some authority outside their jurisdiction. Combine that with the Supreme Court being ignored wholesale by blue states & the last Civil War coinciding with an economic crisis.

I did my little Tim pool shit post already, but being serious, this is just another log on the fire. A big one, but as you said, until the states start flexing, I'm just happy I'm over a thousand miles away. Will there be a riot? Yeah probably. But it's going to have to escalate in EVERY state before we're at war. We got a few years.
