Garrison's plot in this episode feels like the show writing about its own temptation to make fun of Trump again.

Oh FFS I didn't even consider that and I think you are 100% right about that.

While this episode sucked, especially the parts with Mr. Garrison, I can't help but think his voice is also faggier than usual. Even in "Death Camp of Tolerance " he didn't sound that bad.

Ok so it wasn't just me, I thought I was just imagining things.

Also since we are on the topic of voices, can we talk about how annoying Randy sounds now? He wasn't as bad in the Toilet episode but in this episode and in most episodes nowadays Trey gives Randy this retard sounding voice.

When Randy sounds his most stupid nowadays he sort of sounds more like Officer Barbady than he does Randy.

Trey's brain is completely fried from drugs and age now, he does not even remember what made Randy funny in the first place and has completely lost his sense of what makes things either unfunny or overdone.

Randy used to be such a great character that he was worthy of being as main as the 4 boys because he went well with the shows humor and added to it. Randy was never supposed to be the retard dad like Homer Simpsons and Peter Griffin that has been done to death thousands of times.

Randy worked before because he was a fairly normal guy who was relatable to many because he did many funny and embarrassing things our own dad, friends' dads, or even the dad of some acquaintance at school would do.

And when Randy did the more out there stuff like Cock Magic or the World's Biggest Turd, it just fit with the show's humor and didn't deviate from what a person like Randy would do in the crazy world of South Park.

Despite many being mixed, I liked the Japanese Toilets episode because it felt more like a return to form and something that felt more in line with what Randy would have done in the past, and written more like a classic SP episode.

One reason I choose the baseball episode to compare with this one because this felt like the perfect episode to not only compare the voice but also to show what used to make Randy funny and why Randy is completely unfunny character now. Randy in these 2 episode are similar in some ways yet completely different.

What's funny was that the ancient family guy episode has a FAR more reasonable answer for reparations. Rather than mindlessly throwing gibs at niggers and bending over to worship them as they beat you to death, just acknowledge what happened and try to make amends the best you can.

I still don't agree with it, because reparations in whatever form for actions done over a century ago is fucking retarded. But it was handled with a modicum of grace and understanding of all sides involved.

Its truly fucking clown world when family guy, even back when it wasn't absolutely terrible, is better written than what the creators of fucking south park are currently making.

If anything, I find it odd that South Park is trying to make fictional Andrew Tate into a recurring character. It pales into comparison as to how they tried to make Ye a.k.a Kanye West into a fishstick.

The latter was interesting because it was unexpected and amusing. The former just seems forced and lame, while trying to appeal to younger boys that are looking at him being more edgy than Matt and Trey in their prime.

Honestly Season 20 was pretty much the point where South Park fell off hard. All because they didn't forsee Trump winning, and the episodes not being that good.

I honestly think Season 19 was probably the last consistently good season of South Park. Since I'll give South Park this that there are still good episodes coming out now and then which does really make it more painful than Nu-Simpsons since Matt and Trey are still capable of making good stuff.

BS, they are ready proved that point with Big Gay Al, he was really flamboyant and stereotypical but got their message across a lot better. It's like they are scared to offend people now. They used to make every the people they were defending act ridiculous too back in the day, why can't they now.

It's less about the show falling off and more about being pissed at Matt and Trey, at least in my case. Even in Clown World, I honestly thought they were better than this. It wasn't even that long ago when they made an entire episode make fun of trannies. It seems like since the Pandemic something changed in them. I think it was Trey probably being stuck at home with his stupid whore wife 24/7 during the Pandemic. As for Matt, he is Jewish and surrounded by other liberal Jews. So maybe with that factor and his buddy Trey turning more woke that influenced him as well.

COVID affected a lot of people differently and many became jaded. Maybe with having a family Trey and seeing everything happen through the lens of mainstream media, Trey started to think he needed to take things and issues more seriously. He probably thinks that he grew up and now takes sides politically and socially and thinks he is helping. I think this was something that was building up in him after Trump got elected but it went full retard when the Pandemic went on. Look what has happened since after the pandemic.

Sure we had Trump jokes, the White family, the Al Gore apology from 2016-2019, but that seemed to be the worst of it and was usually balanced out by making fun of trannies and woke activists. Notice how we've seen PC Principal a lot less all of a sudden when he was fairly prominent before the pandemic? People in fact even used to complain here about how he was overused, now that is not the case.

It took longer but I think the woke mind virus finally fully got to them.
