That is a bit exaggerated, of course you have to be careful since it's not as safe (say as Japan, Switzerland, or other first world country.), never assume that everything is safe. I visited the country several times in vacation, it's not as bad if you know where you are. Maybe, just maybe if you're a well known dissident then some corrupt bourgeoisie leftist or some jew will give money to a sicario, then you're screwed.
