The problem with McCarthy was that he was so much of a sperg that even many of his colleagues who agreed with him in principle could see that he was causing more harm than good in being so over-the-top about it. There's a not-insignificant number of white, predominantly Spaniard Mexicans. You just don't see them on the news often because the U.S. media likes to portray Mexicans as exclusively darker-skinned poor people. It's just poverty porn. I think U.S. media often likes to portray the world beyond American-and-Canadian borders as this giant monolith of danger and poverty to demoralize people into thinking there's no escape, and that the U.S. despite how shitty its become in many respects is the best they'll ever get. It isn't. I love being American and absolutely hate how much the country has declined, but despite that I've had better experiences living abroad. A far higher, healthier standard of living can be found elsewhere and it's incredible how much one realizes they've been propagandized once they walk out of the machinery. The U.S. these days solely exists to extract as much money out of its citizenry as possible and keep them in a cycle of just barely making ends meet and mindless consumerism.
Sadly I believe this guy has a strong chance of getting railroaded. At 26 seconds left in the clip you see him put his hand up as it’s encroaching on his personal space and is clearly beyond a physical threat. His action will be used to say that he initiated the physical violence. The troon protectors will say it was just exercising its freeze peach and is completely innocent, and he will get persecuted as the violent extremist who attacked whatever it was.

I think most of us learned from public school, if you're going to get in as much trouble as the bully just because you defended yourself? Go for maximum damage.
I quickly learned that in public school bullies get scolded, kids with concussions get time-outs and sent to the principal. Zero-tolerance is code for victim blaming.
There's not much that can be done about public schools zero tolerance policies. I got suspended a couple times for defending myself against bullies and punishment was always equal. Where there's a break in trajectory is the absence of a father at home. When you break your bully's nose, single mom will yell at you and tell you that violence is never the answer. Dad will take you out for ice cream and explain how violence is the answer to some things but men of maturity and good character must learn when it's appropriate and when it's not. School policies reflect the instincts of single mothers which is why public school hurts a lot more kids than it helps.
In my experience it was slightly different. Fighting back was always out of the question, you would be punished for being beaten up, while the kid that beat you got no punishment at all. This creates a cycle of violence and muffled tensions.
Either that or you'd be told to ignore the lil faggot and then punished for responding if you couldn't ignore it.
