It is a net positive for humanity that Allison and Phelan haven't reproduced. I don't think the world could handle the high autism levels their child would have.

Brad is just a catch especially when compared to Phelan. While she's never said she was an ace, it's just I find it hard to see her in any other light. Allison and Phelan never appeared to be comfortable with each other so it was something that made sense given the situation. Maybe she's not an ace and just settled for the one guy that showed some interest in her. But I don't see romance or actual love between them.

I can't see their marriage lasting, or even getting to that point. Brad is the type to rush to the altar but I don't think it would have even lasted as long as his marriage with Jillian did, and they split after two years together.

What would have been funny is if she had met Moviebob before she got with Phelan. Imagine those two miserable sacks of shit enabling each other.

I have a relative who is a little more than a decade older than me and is ace now to be clear they've never declared it. Just growing up she showed no interest in boys and we all assumed she was lesbian and were trying to low key let her know we didn't care but eventually I realized she doesn't like girls either. She's now in her 50's and is a virgin by choice she never wanted a physical relationship with anyone it honestly repulses her, I think. I also worked with an older guy years ago who was just like her, and both are very uptight when it comes to sex and had no interest in it. That's the funny thing about Asexuals being lumped in with the Alphabet Community if a truly ace person went to a Pride parade all the sexuality on display would probably make them uncomfortable.

Strangely while I believe Allison is just frigid with a low sex drive, I think Phelan might truly be ace.

They seemed to have a good enough rapport during those times and Brad did show up on a lot of Allison and Phelan's videos in both cameo and featured player status. But there's no way that Brad would have married her because that man likes boobs and both Jillian and the current Mrs. Snob were packing. Allison? No. I could see him fucking her but not marriage.

I don't know if even Movieblob is that desperate for female company that he'd want Allison.

I think Allison has a type but she never went after it. She seems really really sexually immature. I always got the impression that she was never really social growing up so she became really socially stunted as an adult. If it wasn't for the internet she would have never had a chance to find anyone and would have just been a crazy cat lady yelling about loud fans and toddlers.

As for Phelan I think you're right, he's ace. He seems like he really has no interest with sex what so ever.

Honestly, ace folk give me the impression that they would only do the deed specifically for children and that's it.

And Allison is stupid in some ways, smart in others. She's not going to torpedo her marriage before those three years are up. That's fucking her own plans up. Give it 5+ years before she does.

I got a little curious thinking that Allison's low view numbers were because she covered niche stuff so I went to compare her view numbers to Pushing Up roses who covers horror anthology shows, murder she wrote, and point and click computers games.

Today is the fifth anniversary of the release of the not so awesome document. So in honor of this, I decided to take a look at how Allison's channel has done ever since then.
2018:
Her most watched video:#ChangeTheChannel: What Happened With Channel Awesome
This is notable because it's not just her most watched video of 2018, but her most watched video of all time.

What's also interesting is the five most watched videos on her channel all come from 2018. The Quantum Leap Lost Ending video did so well because of the publicity from an article done by Beth Elderkin. If the name rings a bell, she was also part of #ChangeTheChannel as well as #KickVic.

Her most watched video was Spock's Brain, a video about a Star Trek episode.
Her least viewed video was a podcast on an episode of the Charmed Reboot
2020:
Her most watched video was TNG had the worst pilot, a video about a Star Trek Episode
Her least watched video was Carman and Buggy, a podcast on an episode of the Charmed Reboot.
2021:
Her Most watched video of the year was on Inner Light, a video about a Star Trek Episode. However what's interesting is that it only won by about 200 views with the second most watched video being her video about Modelland. Which would lead to her video reading the Theodore Rex book, where she seems kind of drunk in the video.

Her least watched video was Kindle of Shadows, a podcast about an episode of the Charmed Reboot. Allison eventually would give up watching the Charmed Reboot so the podcasts about the Charmed Reboot stops this year.
2022:
Her Most watched video of the year was about the Scott Bakula Sitcom Eisenhower & Lutz.
Her least watched video was Lens Flare Limbo, a podcast about an episode of the old Charmed series.
Conclusion:
Her Most Watched videos tend to be about Star Trek Episodes with 3 of them being the most watched videos of the year they were released. Her least watched videos tend to be the podcasts with the only outlier being 2018 with a re-release of an old video (Haunting of The Innocent) having the worst views getting only 740 views of the date of this post.

It seems like her channel hit its peak in 2018 and has been stagnating ever since with the occassional break from the algorithm like with the Modelland video being recommended of its 4 hour length.

She’s living off of savings from the golden years and Patreon begging right? Honestly it’s strange how it’s so much harder to do the full time YouTube thing. I remember when 100k subs was enough to go full time. Now it’s 500k with a solid Patreon before you consider going that route

Bonus, she would have gained most likely the same gunt Movie Slob has in record time. :story:

It's not strange considering ad revenue went down big time as a result of the adpocalypse in 2017 when the media went after Pewdiepie for the antisemitic jokes. There was also the whole thing with Logan Paul and the suicide forest that also didn't help matters. Now it's more important to get sponsors for your video because that's where the real money compared to ad revenue now. Well Sponsors as well as Patreon money and livestream donations.
It's hard to know if Allison saved any money from the blip days, probably not considering the whole issue with Mike Michaud and midrolls means she most likely has no money from the golden years. She probably is living off Patreon begging as well as her husband Phelous and the bit of ad revenue she gets from videos that aren't demonitized or copyright claimed.
