It's the SJW way of trying to rationalize why someone they desperately want as an ally hates them.

Notch allying with those assholes would be a massive windfall, as he's the prototype of modern day indie gaming. Difference is, he did most of the work himself and legit earned every penny, and they are a bunch of lazy fuckers trying to get all the glory with none of the work. And even if their obvious greed and desire to leech off him wouldn't piss Notch off, their unrelated sanctimonious bullshit is more than enough to disgust him.

Of course, they can't risk openly shitting on the man (at least the ones with anything resembling half a braincell), so they opt to claim he's miserable in hopes of winning him over later, or at least that's what they tell themselves to cover the butthurt over the model of what they try to be telling them to fuck off.

Has there been any word on how those trailers are coming along? Or does he think that Twitch stream bought him a couple months of laziness?

Also I don't know how Steam full works but couldn't he give out the keys of the 'totally completed game" to backers and just make the full release later whenever the 2-year journey to make a 1-minute YouTube trailer ends? Can even call it an "early release" to backers.
