On the initiative of the Office of the President of Ukraine, on March 31 – the day of the liberation of Bucha – the "Ukraine. Crucifixion. Tribunal" international exhibition opened in New York, 100 meters from the United Nations. The exhibition is dedicated to the crimes of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and is presented on the eve of the UN's consideration of the creation of an International Tribunal that will punish Russia for crimes of aggression.

Info on Russian casualties from a hostile source. Likely somewhat of an underestimate, but most likely somewhere in this ballpark. Unsure if Wagner are part of the count.

I’m looking for an online tool that chooses from the various “trusted” estimators of the war casualties and boils them down into a hopefully realistic number. I don’t know if such a thing exists (given the political circumstances) but my searches haven’t really turned up what I’m looking for, unfortunately.

The woman was sitting around 2 metres away from him and engaging in 'come up to the stage' converation with him right up until the bang. No way in hell she knew that a bomb was about to go off.
I'll bet money they told her it was a red paint bomb or some sort of spying device.

Didn't the Ukrainians hire some unsuspecting trucker off a gig app to drive the truck bomb over the Crimean bridge? At least sandniggers know they have a bomb vest on and are ready to meet Allah when they do their terrorism.
I am really starting to see why people learn to hate Ukrainians the more they learn about them. They are soulless as fuck.

As far as I am aware, that was a boat drone bomb. I remember that one washed up on the shore near Sevastopol (I think it was near there).

I did it. I spent several weeks with minimal exposure to news about the war and it has been good for my mental health. However the thought that men are dying like this still gnaws at my mind. Unfortunately this war has truly buck-broken my mind and I’ll never enjoy the blissful unawareness of how rotten the world is. Fuck Ukraine. I hope I forget this thread ever existed.

Called that fucking shit.
Modern fighter jets, such as the F-16, can detect, track and identify targets on their own, but their range and situational awareness is significantly diminished without AWACS, or early warning radar support. It is telling, that Russian fighters can bait and ambush ukie planes such easily. It means, Ukraine lost its capability to see what is going in the airspace near the battlefield.
Its been reported that Russia is participating in extensive electronic warfare and blasting drones out of the sky. So there's a lot of blindness on the battlefield.
At some level Ukraine must be aware that they are losing this war if they have resorted to bombing random bridges and killing pro-Russia internet pundits.
Its basically what others said, to shore up morale and get the supporters to start jerking it to random Russians biting it along with a war journalist, even if he was a former soldier. Its also done to put pressure on the Russian populace.

But basically these tactics only harden Russia. I mean, Russia blasted fent-laced knockout gas in a movie theater and didn't allow the medics to give them narcan because the ingredients were classified.

I mean, do what you want, but Russians don't break easy. So all this is just more pointless death, causing more animosity and achieving nothing.

Well, this war is end of Empire shit. The first modern conflict since WWII. Its an incredibly important moment in history culminating in a lot of things, and you're going to see countries going in a lot of different directions.

This is also the first propaganda war with massive AI tools and support of the mainstream to obfuscate things. The fog of war is incredibly bad, even for all the information we have (changing battlefield maps, videos, updates, etc.).

There's a lot of important things about this war, as well as the fracturing of Western hegemony and the isolation of Russia utterly failing and having global consequences.

At the same time, we're also entering a weak economy and Biden is still pumping strategic oil reserves to keep energy afloat and as a result OPEC is cutting production. So there's a lot going on and this war, seemingly unimportant, has a lot to do with it.

NATO doesn't want to get embarrassed again by getting another drone poo poo pee pee'ed out of the sky. So Ukraine's eyes in the sky are staying way the fuck back.

The United States of ADHD is focused on Trump and Drag Queens now. I turned on the radio to hear the ABC news break today to see what Current Thing now is and there was zero mention of Ukraine. Closest was a mention of Finland joining NATO but they didn't even go in to why they where doing it. With everyone starting to slow roll supply support to Ukraine and adding months and years to lead times on delivery I think its clear the piggy's are going to have their gibs cut off soon.
What incentive do nation's even have to join NATO at this point? They can't protect you but that won't stop them from policing you anyway. So you lose autonomy and gain nothing god only knows Ukranian citizens aren't seeing that gibs money zelensky's pocketed. The US makes up the majority of NATO's manpower and even their military isn't prepared for a war with a near peer the only way to make up for that deficit is conscription and the US is already sitting on top of a powder keg. The idea that Russia is going to sweep over Europe is absurd especially after they've spent possible year's slogging through Ukraine.

People. You have to stop reading about war and violence. Shit absolutely buttblasts you into madness like it did with me. Ukraine lives rent free in my head now and all I can do is avoid these topics. Don’t even think about this shit it will take years off your life. I just came back after a month and I’m still completely buck broken. I hate this so much.

The elites that rule there want to be part of the cool globohomo club.
The citizens get more taxes, get sent to wars, and US bases crammed with mutts shitting all over their country. And as an added bonus they become bombing targets if WWIII actually does break out.

It was not, the package was created in a NATO nation, Bulgaria or Romania -- I can't remember which. Shipped across the black sea to Georgia then the Azeri truck driver picked it up and was shipping it to Crimea via the bridge, once on it the thing detonated. Come on dude, we have video of the truck exploding. The suicide naval drones are a separate thing entirely.

Possibly retaliation for the cafe bombing.

I assume that Russia intends to take Odessa eventually, but RN everything is seems to revolve around the Ukrainian spring offense and how/if that goes off.
Russia is sort of hampered by the grain agreement but it was only four months, and both parties have to agree to renew it. When Russia refuses to do so then that's when they might make a move towards Odessa.

I can't even imagine this spring offensive now. I really feel bad for the grunts on the ground. Russia has had advanced warning of this offensive for a long time, where it might occur and time to shore up defenses. I would NOT want to be part of this offensive.

Russia isn't even moving at all in anticipation for the offensive. It might never come at this rate, and I hope for the Ukrainians it doesn't, because going at entrenched Russian positions after exhausting so much at Bakhmut...christ.

Make a peacenik/pacifism thread if you feel so strongly but don't lecture us because you're an emotional trashfire. Alternatively just get off the Internet for a while and do some stuff you enjoy.

We wanna talk about the war.
