Linus is such painfully unfunny in his April Fools video that if I would find it 2 years later on a random date I would directly notice it's a "joke".

These kinds of videos only work if you have a sense of humor.

Im not surprised that Asus wanted to do a Steam Deck but like everyone say, is ROG, that thing is going to come at a premium and people will just buy the Steam Deck that at 700 bucks you can run almost anything on it

Also why Linus could not open the Ally but Dave2D could?

a lot of filler this week but then there's some key moments to be an insight to the Leaf's psyche:

the opening is about the Restrict Act in the US, and the internet archive losing in court and nostalgia talk of being an early millenial.

-46:00 Linus is happy they sell Rackstuds in the store, just a reseller
-48:37 they have finally made something to fix the carabiners on their backpack and try to show how you can fix it yourself. Luke tries to do it, this is going to lead to so many fat LTT fans fucking up their backpack, I guarantee it.
-1:18:00 there is a good segment to listen to about affiliates, because it shows how controlling Linus is and how he can't stand having someone challenge him, even though Luke has been loyal for years. It's about affiliate "reviews" and offering revenue for pay-to-play and some kind of bounty system that is used on Twitch, being put on these listicles and websites with "reviews." Luke has a hard "no" to allowing these affiliates to happen, Linus is immediately butthurt and it lasts for a good while because "we need to do this to break into the mainstream." They come back to this later in the show at 2:32:30 and smooth it out, as they act like they might have had their wires crossed.
-the pool is still not ready yet at their mcmansion
-2:52:20 a question is asked about what the other thinks they got busted for if called late at night and told the other is in jail. Linus says Luke would be public nudity/indeceny (peeing in public), Luke says assault, Linus doesn't know why then has a realization between the two and it feels weird, they don't elaborate. Insert soyjack meme of beating up girlfriend with Switch Steamdeck meme
-3:12:50 a question is about LTT's damage to smaller tech channels, Linus in full on savior mode, they made it so they pioneered advertising in the space and bring people to the tech corner of youtube. He then says it's easier than ever to make a successful youtube channel which is a bruh moment. This entire segment becomes a glorification of big corpo neolib think because they have the tools, and they'd never do anything bad just because they have the power, right, buddy?

Hmph well there was that one time at Mennonite bible camp where a young girl was assaulted. There is also his mother who did something so egregious she couldn't get custody of Linus when she divorced her first husband. The troon sister is violent as well, maybe it runs in the genes?

There was a laptop a while ago I forget the brand that was suppose to allow you to upgrade the GPU (among other more normal for a laptop ports) I think in the Nvidia 900 series era. The company never released new cards for it, so it was just a giant waste of money.

I'm late to this but it was the Alienware Area 51m. Dell promised upgradable GPU modules, and indeed the system had removable GPUs, but they never made them beyond the 2080. The CPU was a standard desktop socket so you could swap out and upgrade that up to the socket's limit (it was Intel so it was only that current generation, 9000 series) but it worked pretty well. If they had actually made 3000 series gpus for it I'd still be using mine now for more than just work and storage. It does inherently have a longer lifespan than any other laptop I've ever owned though since every part in it is swappable, just not necessarily upgradable.

We may get a good answer to your post. As Luke is now back at LMG instead of Floatplane, so he may get one of those tech upgrade videos. That is if they bend the rules, because "upper management" is exempt from those video's i think. But Linus has been known to break the rules when he wants. So we can see if his GF does have another boyfriend.

I don't think upper management is excluded. Colton received one and he's pretty high up there.
