My first guess was she stupidly thought if she blurred out the neighboring business, no one could figure out where their local gym and Subway shop was located.

i'm absolutely losing my shit at this. yeah don't want to strain yourself!! that had to be what, twenty pounds maximum?!

She 100% added the caption "It's healthier to increase weight gradually in order to avoid muscle injury" because she knew people would make fun of her "manly" husband with the spaghetti arms lifting such tiny weights. (I would be embarrassed too).

She really just ended up making him look like a bigger pussy (if that's possible) with that caption.

I was on the train with earbuds and just burst out laughing, I think communtors on the train must have thought i was a bit manic but jesus fucking christ that was fucking hilarious, and so cringe at the same time.

She done exactly what she showed us at the gym no more than a few steps enough to film and then off to subway after already eating a meal for 10 before she went to the gym.

Edited to add: I couldn’t put my finger on why she looked even more fucked up than normal. Then I realized she has those sundown eyes that potato Luna has. Seeing Salah more on his own has been revealing. You can tell he really thinks he's showing us something. When he recorded the solo trip to the grocery store, Yaba noted that it was like watching a person who received their first food stamps. And this gym journey is similar - he's taking us around the locker room and the toilets like the place is something most people only see in the movies. He's filming himself in a bathroom that has a light flickering in the background and a water tap he almost pulls out when opening it, but he's not trolling. He thinks this is great.

You can argue that they're both kind of pathetic - after all, they both did the apartment tour and Chantal's favorite Kuwaiti object so far has been the plastic table cloth. But her delusion is different and she's aware of her situation at some level, as evident from the frequent comments that she doesn't mind this or that and how she discovered the joys of humble living. But for him, this is the height of materialism. And since he's gotten rid of his precious car, it's all he has as well. With the added bonus of a better status, both in Kuwait and possibly abroad. He's not going anywhere.

Come on Chinny you cant find an empty spot to film a few reps or a nice up-close shot of you on the treadmill with nothing but your huge face and the ceiling above like when you walk around and film? If you think we dont know what gym you're at, you're nuts. There's only 1 ladies gym in Kuwait with that flooring and those colored lockers in the locker room...we'll keep it to ourselves to keep you from being harassed. I'd truly like to see you get healthy, or die trying.

Why does she hang out alone in the sweatbox then? As a normal, it's hard to understand not being able to walk at least a kilometer, so is her neighborhood just crappy apartments and no shops/restaurants within hurpling distance?
