The thing is, compared to her peers (friends), she had a sweet deal and much more. Job/home/food/stability/loving parent...it's a pretty sweet deal to me. I had this 'friend', she was a deplorable person, really ugly, rude, similar to Leah really...anyway, so everyone used to go hang out at her house since she had a pool and everyone liked the pool. This is likely how Leah is viewed. She has a nice free house for her friends to crash, so they are her friends. Once it's all gone, her friends will go missing too.
