https://www.cheknews.ca/pit-bull-attack-near-nanaimo-injures-two-children-and-one-woman-450395/

Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

I had to have some fun with this one. Wanted to see how bad the namings are in the states.

Generic mix and the white bitches will love my quirky drool!
(Though in fairness this one does kind of look like a boxer/pit mix, but still too lazy to write it up. Unless its a super skinny pit)

"Just call everything mixed breed guysssss it'll be fiinnnee guuyyysss"
Holy shit those are some ugly ass dogs. Thankfully 95% of Pitt mixes can be picked out in a few seconds with their ugly "ass head", toad eyes, toad face, shark jowls, and generally aggressive yet mentally retarded mannerisms.
Part of the reason why shelters will never be fined for "accidentally" mislabeling a dog by breed is because shelters operate on very thin margins and most of the time only are able to make ends meet via donations and volunteers (at least every shelter I've ever lived by acts like this).

One of two fines by people who were mauled by one of their dogs that were labeled "mixed breed" could hypothetically shut down a shelter, which would then open up a whole new can of worms.

Shelters mislabel pits in order to get fools to adopt them. They know exactly what they're doing and they don't give a damn how many kids and elderly get attacked as long as the 'poor, sweet pibble' doesn't get euthanized.
Ugh yep. Shelters are usually run by, SURPRISE, single white women 30-50 who just can't stand to see a violent dog put down. I was at a shelter a few weeks ago and 7/10 of their dogs were blatant pitts all labeled as "unknown breed".

Brooklinn Khoury Says Her Lip Was Thrown 'in the Trash' After Dog Attack

"The plastic surgeon at the emergency room wasn’t able to reattach my lip. Crazy thought about where it ended up, but everything happens for a reason," Khoury said

Brooklinn Khoury revealed where her upper lip ended up after it was ripped off — along with parts of her nose — in a pit bull attack in 2020.

The pro skateboarder and model answered a TikTok user who asked, "What happened to the detached lip? Why wasn't it reattached?"

"I get this question asked a lot, and to be honest with you, actually just found out where my lip went," the 23-year-old said.

Right when I got into the attack, my lip had been off of ice for 40 minutes," she continued. "When I got into the hospital, my lip was shriveled up and shrunk. The surgeon had to drive to the hospital. That whole six hours, the lip was just sitting on ice."

"When the surgeon finally came, he said he was not able to reattach it," Khoury explained. "Every surgeon works differently. My doctor now said he would have been able to reattach it. But there is always a chance that I would die."

She then revealed, "My lip was thrown out in the trash."

Am I sad about it? Not really. Everything does happen for a reason, but it does give me a weird feeling that a piece of me is in the trash," she added.

Sharing the TikTok video on her Instagram, Khoury reiterated her concluding sentiment in her caption: "The plastic surgeon at the emergency room wasn't able to reattach my lip. Crazy thought about where it ended up, but everything happens for a reason."

In recent weeks, Khoury has been sharing her excitement on social media as she continues to heal from her final lip reconstruction surgery. Last month, she explained to her followers what her doctor planned to achieve with her latest surgery.

Fuck em, they should be fined anyway, and if they can't pay to play the stupid game they're playing, they can shut the fuck down. They're willingly putting the public at danger by distributing hair-trigger weapons.

And then the pits are on the streets, which isn't any better. If the shelters just euthanized the demons all of the issues with space/funding and the pibble menace would be solved.

But that'll never happen because some childless white bitch thinks "Cupcake" deserves to live.

Agree, and this is coming from someone who volunteered at a shelter at one point.
The specific shelter I was helping at, however, wasn't the typical. They mainly housed cats with some dogs on the side. The facility was split half and half, where the main entrance area had the dogs and the offside building was all cats. Animals were very well taken care of too and I always loved working with both sides of the shelter. They were also no-kill, but this specific one understood their limits. This included amount of animals and types. I wanted to adopt several of the dogs that came through, but I knew better than to start "foster failing" at that point. They always had nice breeds coming in like cattle dogs, actual labs, goldens, etc.

Anyway, I don't recall seeing a single pit or pit mix at that place and it was great. The "worst" dog there was an elder chihuahua who was "aggressive" and honestly I never had any issues with him so I think people were making a bigger deal out of it than it was. It even found a great home in the end so everything worked out.

I ended up having to stop volunteering at some point, but did miss the place. I still to this day believe someone/s had been out to get this shelter, probably because of the no pit thing. There were always bullshit reviews like "I adopted a cat and it chewed up my furniture so I dont want it and this shelter gave me a bad cat" and "they fixed the dog four days before I adopted it and now it is sick" and "I waited in line 20 mins to see the puppies but everyone else got one before me." It was always the most STUPID retarded ass shit I could have ever imagined. Even people claiming the place was "dirty" but as someone who had worked there, those cages and spaces were super clean. When we would get full litters of puppies in we would be cleaning those cages like every hour or so. The dogs did not stay there alone over night either, people took them home for care.

The absolute butthurt from these fuckers was unreal and this is why we can't have nice things.

If you have:
  • First come first serve, it pisses off the people who get their feelings hurt because they weren't fast enough even though it reduces fees, keeps your information private, and gives more people a chance.
  • No pits, many people are gonna get mad and make a deal out of it one way or another
  • Vet care and pet screening, it will still end up in the hands of a retards who leave false reviews online and bitches to someone
I, to this day, still dont know why the hell they actually got shut down and it crosses my mind very often. I can only imagine things like this happening, but way worse if "muh widdle pibbles" get denied from being picked up and cared for and sent to random peoples' homes who don't know shit.

I mean my god, people shit on the Amish for puppy mills, but at least they aren't doing pits like the joggers do.

Also while writing this, it hit me that another reason people adopt pits so freely is because it is easier to get a pit. If you try to get a golden or something better from a rescue, they charge like a $500 fee just to submit a form which is your life story and everyone in your homes life story, then they come to your home and inspect it, then charge you more money, then charge you $3k for the dog itself, then keep coming over to inspect you home and the dog, and then at that point they can take the dog from you at any time so it isnt your dog at that point. FUCK YOU.

There are so many problems with the way dog buying and ownership is, it just PROMOTES adopting pitbulls whether we want that or not. Its the same thing with pirating shit online. Sure, there are people who are always going to do it, but there are a large portion of people who do it because the current system is either too expensive or too bullshit to deal with and pirating is easier. This is the same for pitbulls and puppy mills. When getting a $30 pit from the shelter or getting a $100 golden from the Amish is easier and more simple than getting a $5k golden from a "rescue", you better fucking believe people aren't gonna do that.

Shop, don't adopt. At least the amish are more truthful to you than shelters and rescues are out their fucking minds for charging the prices they charge.

What, really? Fuck adopting then, I'd rather buy from a puppy mill. Farmer Jansenn or one of his buddies will have what I am looking for for 1,000 bucks and a handshake behind the McDonalds.

I saw a lab puppy on petfinder locally, it was 6 months old, the only shelter in the area that doesn't label pits as "mixed breeds" and one of the few that don't just have pits, so was thinking of giving them a chance. They don't list their prices, then I saw the application, which is longer than a job application, and very invasive. They want to know if you will pay for an obedience class if necessary, if you travel frequently, if you would pay for a housemates allergy medicine, if they can visit your home, a personal reference, etc. I honestly can't think of a single instance in my life where that would be considered acceptable or normal. Maybe if you had a search warrant issued for your property or you applied to a three letter agency they would be more invasive.

I've heard of someone being denied getting a puppy because they had a primarily outdoor german shepherd, that wanted to be outdoors, and came into the house when they wanted to. That person was pissed and rightfully so. It's the mentality that plagues too many people, if you don't do exactly how I do something you are wrong and a terrible person. I wouldn't be surprised if I would be denied for an application because I let my pup run free on acreage and feed them a raw diet because it's not Purina™ approved.

It gets worse if you follow breed specific rescues like I do for French Bulldogs. Like I get they want a successful placement but nigger you have no right to pry into my life.

I think these ridiculous rescue rules would drop away if we instituted an animal abuser registry like we do for sex offenders. Rescues are rightfully scared that if they don't do any due diligence then their disabled/special needs dogs will be adopted by niggers for dogfighting kill training like we found out Mike Vick was doing.

Dog Attacks, Kills 2-Year-Old in Frederick County MD: Police

A 2-year-old boy is dead after being attacked by his relative's dog Tuesday in Frederick County, Maryland, and the animal is in quarantine, police said.

The child and his family, from Fauquier County, Virginia, were visiting a relative in Brunswick, Chief of Brunswick Police Kevin Grunwell said.

The boy had played with the dog, a pit bill and mastiff mix, all day, Grunwell said.

When the family was saying goodbye, the dog attacked the child inside the home, according to Grunwell.

Brunswick police and Frederick County fire and rescue were called to the 400 block of West B Street about 5:15 p.m., the Brunswick officials said.

The boy had life-threatening dog bite injuries and went into cardiac arrest. He was flown to the hospital, but pronounced dead shortly after he arrived, officials said.

Police and Frederick County animal control have launched an investigation.

If society became sane and collectively decided Pibbles need to go how long would it take to half the population through sterilization and euthanization?
Less than 5 years, I'd say. Unlike feral cats, which are small, crafty litle shits, it'd be pretty easy to single out Pitbulls for termination. And while they "can" survive in the wild, they don't have a proper ecological role to play, so long-term survival is unlikely when coupled with active extermination efforts.

Want to make things go even faster? Offer cash bounties for turning in shitbull carcasses. This is a bad idea, rescinded.

68-year-old man attacked, killed by 2 stray pit bulls in Detroit, police say

The attack happened around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday (April 4) in the 5400 block of West Fort Street in Southwest Detroit.

Officials said the 68-year-old man was found dead inside a building. It appears two pit bulls attacked him, according to authorities.

It’s unclear if the man was trying to help or feed the dogs when they attacked, police said.

No additional information has been revealed.

2 in one day...

Bad idea. This kind of shit always backfires because some enterprising scumbags will start breeding them en-masse for the express purpose of killing them and turning the corpses in for the bounty. It's happened before in times when there were bounties for turning in rat tails.

You've got a good point there, I didn't think of that. Scratch that idea.

Yep, it truly is terrible how much they want and the charges they add onto it.

Sunshine Golden Retriever Rescue

Here are a few of my favorite highlights from this one rescue alone.
If you work full-time, SGRR will consider your application for a dog over the age of 7 years. The needs of young dogs for exercise and companionship can generally not be filled if their family is gone all day, even with a dog walker coming during the day.
If you have no dog experience, you may be considered for an older dog who has very little training needs as opposed to a puppy or young dog who will benefit from an experienced handler. Families with experience will be selected first.
Applying for a SGRR rescue dog begins with the submission of the Adoption Application. The application is reviewed, and if it appears to meet adoption criteria for a rescue dog, the process moves on to the next steps:
1. A Veterinarian Reference Check
2. Phone Interview
3. Home Visit
Shockingly this place has way lower adoption fees, but still;
Adoption Fees:

You just show up, pay, and go home with it.

Bit of a pl but it needs to be said, my local sheriff took over the pound recently and turned it into a no-kill shelter, and started handing out pits left and right, if you go on his facebook page all you see is lovey dovey messages about 'widdle pibble needs a forever home and love and care' with pink text and flowers and hearts, while 95% of the dogs handed out are shitbulls. I can understand a no-kill cat shelter, but "people" in the south are breeding these monsters so fast you gotta have some metric for euthanasia otherwise your shelter will just be packed to the brim with aggressive ass shitbulls, without even any room for other dogs.

Your sheriff will turn it into a slaughterhouse once his deputies start getting bit by wild weapons on the loose.
