As I've said before, what could possibly hope to replace the U.S. dollar that's actually reliable in any shape or form without being weaponized?
To my knowledge - I may be wrong - both the Yuan and Ruble still follow the gold standard. The USD is based on "trust me bro" which is turning out to be piss in the wind.

To answer your question: Gold. Or maybe dogecoin if you like memes.

The last time China tried to audit their gold reserves, a whole bunch of people disappeared..

Tucker on the downfall of the US Dollar as the worlds reserve currency.

P.S.
I gotta buy more gold and silver.

I like how Tucker talks about "boomer fantasies" lol in reference to old fucks like the neocons.

Though I guess its no surprise that other nations overall don't want to be "canceled" and held hostage just because they refuse to allow buttsex.

Sounds sus. When was the last time Fort Knox was audited?
Officially or unofficially? Because I'd suspect that the people in charge in the US would want to know if gold has been swapped out for bags of rocks or gold plated lead bars, like in China. I don't expect them to tell us about it, but it would make little sense for them to not actually know, as happened in the aforementioned nation where they discovered that an estimated 4% of their gold reserves had been stolen out from under their nose.

Have you seen the people in charge?

Didn't a huge bank recently find out a lot of their gold was just nickel or something? I don't trust the US gov to be any better.

Vote buying seems like grounds for impeachment to me. Didn't the Republicans just get a 60% majority in the WI congress? I remember hearing something like that..
I'm ABSOLUTELY certain they did this with enough degrees of seperation that the people who won can go "hey it wasn't OUR fault that some COMPLETELY INDEPENDANT NGO decided to do something so DASHINGLY INNOVATIVE and pushed for REAL CHANGE IN OUR POLITICAL PROCESS."

tl;dr: If this works (and it did) expect them to run it nationally in 2024 / 2026.

So much for the Yuan becoming the world reserve currency, China just flushed that down the toilet.
Is EVERYONE freaking out about the 2030 due date jesus christ.
In Brazil vote buying is illegal. This is pretty standard on every system where voting is used, be they a democracy or a republic or a parliamentary system or anything like that. To get around this corrupt politicians will try and instead make targeted donations or purchase the votes in a different way, such as donating a thousand bricks that just so happen to always go to people who are trying to build a house or holding rallies with cheap food. A common strat in the old days was the "pressure cooker" guarantee where they gifted a pressure cooker to voters but the lid of it would only be provided if they won the election so they would have a incentive to actually vote for them instead of taking the bribe and running (which is what would often happen) though this sort of practice has died down on most elections outside of the deep countryside.

The United States, as the premier superpower of the world and a advanced nation, does not have this. Instead they just straight up send you the money via a app if you agree to shill the fuck out of the candidates they want you to vote for and offer extras if you MLM that shit up by getting your family and friends to also vote.

Oh yeah, they did some fuckery like this re: mail in ballots in 2020. I posted way back when, I'll have to dig it up when I get off work this afternoon. I emailed the election commission, they did the whole "we don't endorse that agency" and I'm like, they're listed on your fucking website, I'd call that tacit endorsement.

A few have tried, and officials from other nations keeping their own stores there, but whenever they do they're kept in a room, and some functionary goes down into the vaults by himself and returns with one sample, acting bewildered when the attempted auditor protests that the one bar or coin being produced doesn't mean that the entire horde isn't there as well.

If a non-Fed lackey saw what was actually in the vaults and lived to tell the tale, the results would be, not hyperbolizing, apocalyptic.

Most of China's Gold Reserves are actually Taiwan's. The ROC took all their reserves when they evacuated in 1949. So the CCP built their own over the years.

This does bring the question of weather any actual reserve even exists, and no one seems to know. We have entered a level of complexity and abstraction that is hard to keep track of anything. The US dropped the gold standard in 1971 and since then pretty much the entire world has gone into full FIAT funny money.

It's fascinating to actually look into it and realize how virtually all the arguments against it boil down to "having a standard like this stops governments from interfereing in the economy and that is bad". It always boils down to that. The lack of a standard, be it gold or gold/silver or anything like that only benefits the government and people in charge of issuing the currency that you are forced to use. There were about a dozen opportunities in the 70's and 80's for the re-establishment of the Brenton-Woods system by re-tethering the US Dollar to Gold again but it was not done. Probably because funny accounting had become so profitable.
