Chantal's half-assed absence this week spurned about half a dozen HN conflicts. It would be nostalgic to go back to pre-recorded videos only. The thread was a different beast back then. HN will implode almost immediately in the background, each reactor looking for a new target and most of them settling on one of their own.
Anyway, here's my theory.
I'm convinced that Chantal is self-sabotaging in an attempt to find out if Salah actually loves her. I think she "quits," is able to convince herself a few hours later that he loves her because he doesn't immediately kick her out, then allows herself to let him talk her into returning. Then she insists on watching people talk about her, subjecting herself to 20 different reactors casually referring to how obvious it is that he doesn't care about her, gets insecure again and quits. I think she partially is being intentional and is partly doing it subconsciously.
She did similar shit with Nader when she got to the point that her denial was only working part-time. A small part of her wants to know whether Salah really cares about her. She knows he doesn't deep down, but she wants proof. Then the wind changes and she's happy to just believe her own lies for a while.
This Members Only announcement sealed the deal for me. Why the fuck would she encourage her members to cancel? It's like she's purposefully reducing any and all income. She's never cared before about what she offered her members and whether it not it was worth it. Now she's announcing that the memberships are essentially meaningless, pushing the few left to cancel their subscriptions.
She's been trying to sabotage her channel since she got to Kuwait.
