The above rewrite is probably sufficient enough, OP might need to move a few things around accordingly if he wants to use it though.

You don't need to oversimplify or dumb it down too much, but the intro comes right out the gate with the assumption that we know about the Kino Casino, Godwinson, Ralph, and others (also make sure to include hyperlinks to other threads for any cows mentions). You should add more about how people became interested in the guy, what makes him so noteworthy outside of being a sex offender, and so on. It currently talks about the drama he's been engaged in with his roommate.

There is 2 scenarios, first of though before any of those scenarios what is certain is that they will be forever closely monitoring this thread.
