It's hardly that bad dudes, if this was a thing my hospital would be depopulated and without employees as vax (Pfizer) uptake was like 95%.
And I can see the statistics and data about the personnel, so from like 600-700 employees, we lost 3 to COVID (RIP) and a grand zero to vaccine adverse reactions, which did happen to about 5% of people, most being muscular pain at the injection site.
The problem with these vaccines is that they were rushed, their efficacy is very questionable, especially against new variants (who TF keeps track of them these days), and that they have become fully useless after Omicron rampaged through the population infecting 90%+ in cities in like 2-3 months. Sure we could offer them to very old and vulnerable people, in an attempt to reduce the severity of getting the disease. But basically nobody offers them anymore anyway, all the vaccination centers are closed for many months now.
I don't think we will know the actual truth about how good/bad these vaccines were (cause there are dozens of them). It's too politicized and the pharma corporations are too important, even if they messed up badly with the vaccines. Also I suspect a lot of financial misconduct, as Moderna and Pfizer sold far, far more than needed to the EU, and the EU tried to force its members to "share the burden" of these questionable contracts.
Hopefully somebody will find a way to look into it properly, and force the corporations to share data.
