That's what I thought. And IANAL, but I also (think) I understand that even when the State presses criminal charges against a defendant, the State is the plaintiff because a law has been broken. They are not actually representing the victims, at least not directly.
Something like the EEOC will sometimes represent you. You file a complaint, the EEOC investigates, then if they decline to do anything about it (the usual result) you get a "right-to-sue" letter. I seriously doubt they'll represent Russhole because a law firm declined to represent him because he has a history of misusing legal resources to sexually harass celebrities he wants to fuck.

Anyone hiring Russhole would face liability for negligently hiring a sex pest who then used their resources to sexually harass people.

Everybody has been turned down for a job even if it's one that, as far as they're concerned, was perfect for them.

And as for why you're turned down? It could be for a load of reasons the least of which is because of your face. It could be they think you're not a right fit for the company. Or you've bounced around too many times. Or you wrote a book on why you wanted to sue a celebrity. Nobody owes you a job. You have to earn it.

what does he mean by "off the phone with the State of Nevada"? the state governor? somehow i have doubts about high ranking politicians like that wasting spending their time talking to greer about his next lawsuit
It literally means he called the State EEOC or whatever passes for such in Nevada, and the lady that answered the phone and took down his complaint said they would look into it.

His complaint will go nowhere because he has stalking convictions, a history of fraudulent bad faith litigation and is a rather obvious sex pest. A simple Google search will kill Rusty's chances at a law firm. Most will also pull up an applicants litigation history and HOLY RED FLAG BATMAN!

I very seriously doubt a law firm said or did anything that would give anyone, least of all Russ, legitimate grounds to sue. They probably Googled him, and found he's in an ongoing lawsuit against Null, and very recently concluded a suit against a major production company. Like you said, they'd be fools to hire someone with a history of using the law a means to harass his perceived enemies. Unless they said "we're not hiring you because you're gimpy faced sped with no redeeming qualities", he really doesn't have any proof they discriminated against him. I also noticed he's now saying "discriminated against" instead of his old "so and so discriminated me." I guess someone told him the latter made no grammatical sense.

What's odd is that he's been turned away from many law firms over the years. I wonder what is it about this particular one that's got him seething so hard?

edit: I bet it was a woman who conducted the interview.
Either that, or it was for a position he thinks he knows how to do like collections. He got hired by collections firm, but he had trouble doing the job. The company downsized and Russ was among several people let go. He thought he was going to get promoted.

I wonder if this firm is connected to the entertainment industry, and Russ thought he could get in the door that way, or it would help him sue his way into stardom.

Hire, not represent. He thinks disabled+shit paralegal degree=automagic job.
His AGT suit made clear something we'd suspected for a while. He literally thinks it's illegal to tell him no due to his face. He flat out said he was expecting (and entitled to) special treatment from AGT and was mad they treated him like every other contestant, which is what the law actually requires.

The only collections employment he should be considered for is collecting garbage from the trashcans at Wal-Mart.

Russ just doesn’t know that the secret to winning over a prospective employers is to liberally use the words “nigger” and “faggot” in your interview and, ideally, your resume.

It's another example of how he thinks like a computer conditional.
  • If (hot chick) Then (Whore)
  • If (give dollar) Then (Suck Me My Penis)
  • If (Lawsuit) Then (Get What I Want)
  • If (Get What I Want=false) Then (Muh Dishabilooty)
  • If (Place Where Lawyers Work) Then (Law Firm For Hire)
I think we need a more clever name for this. Perhaps "C+Russ"?

They already have a name for it in public school districts: PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention Strategies).

One PBIS tactic I saw in middle schools as a teacher was a kid going from class to class with a card. The teacher was supposed to initial the card if the kid didn't tard out in class that day. If he had a whole day of initials, well, good, I guess. If he racked them up all five days, on Friday, he'd get a prize from the assistant principal.

Ratmouth is about the right age to have likely experience similar PBIS horseshit in his schools, hence more background for why he might see everything as transactional.

I really wish this was true. I would totally email the lawfirm being sued with everything Russ has done, including the conviction of stalking. Just the thought of him losing a lawsuit and having people legally allowed to discriminate against him as a sex pest would be pure joy
Did this firm ever give him the impression that he was going to be hired? Did he submit an application or resumé and think an automated "thank you" meant he got the job? Did he get a job interview? Was he explicitly turned down, or did they just ghost him?
