I have just realized how good grandparents are as streamers. Just pretend chat is your grandkid and prattle on for hours. Extremely wholesome. Minna is off dealing with doughbaby and Momma Vanilla has been telling stories for 10 minutes straight. Proof of Hag Supremacy.

Between this and Pippa's mom watching her the anime invasion of Appalachia seems fitting for these bizarre times. Imagine a JP vtuber saying they want to tour the Blue Ridge Mountains, drink moonshine and shoot tannerite with illegal firearms.

Possible as well that an Indo concert could draw in fans from elsewhere to come visit, I know I saw a fair amount of JP fans got their hands on and are planning to make the trip to LA for the EN concert. I could see a fair number of JP/Taiwan/Aussie fans making a trip to Indo for a holoconcert.

basically Calli's not ever really taken much of a break since starting holo, back in November/December when most of EN was on hiatus and not streaming Calli and Kiara were holding down the EN fort and streaming regularly even though Calli was already busy as hell with Album recording/prep and concert appearances as demondice. She planned on taking a week vacation in singapore after all of it but then that trip got cut short when an ATM in singapore ate her bank card and JP bank autism would not get her a new one so she had to go back home after like 1 day in Singapore.

During her b-day stream and then today during CHADcast Bae was pushing her hard on needing to take a break and Calli came out and said she was planning to do so and was talking it over with management already, she's likely gonna take like a month away but even then shes' talking on stream tonight that during that break she's still got some collabs planned. Hopefully she for once takes some time to actually slow down but between both sides (Calli/DD) she's probably going to just be doing a low-workload month rather than genuinely taking a month off.

The "heath" comment there is basically just the other side of what she said as Calli that she was gonna take some time off for mental health stuff rather than being any actual like, physical health reason like the DD tweet might sound like (she has a tendency to just refer to mental shit as just "health issues" on the demondice side of things like when she had issues with getting her meds from her JP doctor a while back)

I'm partial to the fans referring to them as WARS (Warden, Alchemist, Reaper, Scholar) because it fits the unhinged infighting that always comes with the group.

On another topic: it's always interesting that there is barely any seething (at least in the west) about Suisei collabing with males (with other Holostars, Taku Inoue and so on). Is it her strong singer brand that "explains" why she needs to interact with males to get her songs produced?

I mean it's hard to be some local weebs when I see news from the country customs department shitshow that is basically a gamble between the package actually delivered to you or it disappeared into thin air. And I think currency power stands out, Yagoo probably sees the population as ripe for the taking.

I believe no one can stop Suisei from doing whatever she wants, surprisingly she probably one of the few who have fans that are unicorns.
I mean she doesn't really go for the GFE shtick and it helps build her image, I guess.

Also Kronii have some stupid luck.

She has over the years always made herself explicitly clear that she's just not interested in fostering that sort of fanbase, shutting down gachikoi, turning down fanservicey stuff (think holosummer when she just tweeted that she had zero intention of ever doing a solo stream with her swimsuit model) etc. She puts herself forward as just an entertainer, more interested in her music and just killing time with whatever game strikes her whim rather than pandering to fans any more than just a normal musical artist would.
