Mate, that's one slide out of the entirety of the leak. Someone modified it and posted it in that thread. Origin does not appear to be 4chan as per NYT, and the original slides contained the numbers mentioned. They very specifically only used language they use for Twitter, FB, and Telegram






Your presumption entirely relies on the presumption that that one post (containing only a small part of the leak) is the origin. Consider this, if the Biden administration specifically chose to highlight the "fake" (the one with higher Ukrainian casualties) one as the real one, than that's a pretty significant admission on their part

NYT says they talked with Pentagon and Biden admin, so I'd say it's the second one. Unless this is a ploy by NYT to undermine Biden for some reason

I know. That's why I assume it's for armored vehicles only (Tanks, APC's, artillery "tractors", etc. ) Which to be honest isn't great even for this type of warfare.(especially since Russian handicapped themselves from the start) But far from what Osint Bro's love to claim.

Or what was once here claimed: more then 3000 tanks. Which is absurd on account of that being a large army group size tank deployment numbers or the amount of tanks in a 3 Combined Arms Army's. And Russia invaded with about 150.000 men......

The NYT says the pentagon is investigating the origin, so far the 4chan one seems the earliest and higher quality ones come from there.

Nothing in the article confirms it came from those platforms, just spread there. Also funny that you left out the part in the article that says parts may be altered by Russian telegram channels.

I wouldn't hold the NYT accountable for publishing true fax. It's very well possible the version they saw was also photoshooped and the reporter doesn't know any better than we do. I don't think either version looks particularly true.

So far there is no evidence that 4chan is the origin, and likewise Pentagon takedown attemps were aimed at Twitter, not 4chan (as far as we know anyway)

Because it wasn't relevant? It was posted earlier in the thread. Tellingly, they provide no evidence for their assumption. Anyway, the only version of the leak they cite is the 70k+ dead ukrainians. They had been briefed by both Biden admins and Pentagon, and so it makes sense that if the "lower Ukr death" version was true, they would have specifically mentioned it. They did not, and when talking about the numbers, they didn't even specifically call them forgeries.

I mean, fair, but I feel like they would have simply denied it if this was false, instead of going the Hunter Biden route "it might be false". Either way, why didn't Pentagon ask them to call this version clearly false? To me, this screams that Pentagon was cought unawares.

The government has no reason to tell the newspaper the truth. If I were briefing journalists on how to make a devastating leak look less bad, I would lie to their stupid faces and think nothing of it. Pentagon spooks would have done the same. The 'bad' numbers for Ukraine are also ridiculous and way, way below the best estimates being put out by western sources, including the Pentagon. No one, not even the UA General Staff, are claiming they've only lost 17 thousand KIA. So if these are the numbers in the real PP the NATO shot callers have sailed past huffing their own farts and floating on copium to straight up batshit.

Possible given their plan for the Spring offensive includes "assume air supremacy".

Scandinavia have gone all in on windmills, and export power to Germany which has also gone all in on windmills. The result is that just about every field of industry is struggling for electricity. It’s kind of weird because Scandinavia has excellent conditions for hydro, and Sweden even has decent uranium deposits, but instead all the money goes into windmills for some reason.
