To be fair, the chat is more active now than it has been. It seems that fixes are roiling out for glitches, and people are coming back. Nick is still not in the chat nearly as much, but he is spending that time elsewhere. It will disappoint those who joined to have more access to him, but I think the separation from his audience is what he needs. But that smaller hugbox he has shut himself up in is more detrimental than the benefit of aloofness from LOCALS chat.
These are things they tell you not to do on literally the first day of law school. Granted, they don't explicitly say "don't show up in casual clothing when communicating with other attorneys," but they do say to present yourself professionally whenever you're in an environment that calls for it and to be careful about your language in regards to other lawyers/judges since you might need to practice with or before them in the future.
