The SS website has information about suicide on it, but it's a stretch to say that I put it there or even endorse much of the information there. Simply hosting the platform doesn't mean that you agree with everything on it.

This happened even back in the days of alt.suicide.holiday which had a troll/lolcow named Douglas Russell Wiser who not only tried to get suicidal people to kill themselves, but was also a pedophile who hit on suicidal underage girls.

I'd suggest most fit your description. Despite the media screeching, suicide is simply not really all that common. The biggest tell for a future completed suicide is a previous attempt and even among that group less than a few percent carry it off, ultimately.

No, that stuff is degenerate. I draw the line at content that could be illegal, such as lolicon/shota content. I do equate that stuff to CP, which is illegal. Even though lolicon/shota isn't illegal per say, I wouldn't host a forum with it.

I wouldn't even host text discussions for pedophiles, because that's not something I would be comfortable hosting.

The only requests I remember answering a request of a copy of Shawn Shatto's posts to the detectives that reaching out for them. The other time is when the Italian authorities reached out and I told them to kick rocks. Other than those 2 incidents, I haven't received any subpoenas or requests for user data.

Someone saying something doesn't mean that you should involuntarily commit them. Far too many cases of people being involuntarily committed in these mental health cases instead of getting to the root of the problem. The government cares too much about people living, but not enough about making people's lives better. That's enough political sperging for me today.

You have to understand that these people cant voice this opinions elsewhere, that's why they do so on the forum. If they voiced these opinions elsewhere, they would not be taken serious or they would have a suicide hotline shoved in their faces.
