I found House unwatchable when it aired, because of Laurie's accent.
I don’t even know if it was technically bad- perhaps it sounded vey like a particular dialect- but because id been so familiar with his voice growing up, I couldn’t hear it as anything other than a fake accent. Perhaps it was more the having to consciously suspend disbelief because of that, but it al got loaded onto being his accents fault for me- probably unfairly.
